One of the core features of titles in the Pokémon franchise is the sheer amount of post-game content to keep Trainers busy until the next release, and Pokémon Scarlet & Violet offers a moderately decent number of things endgame players can do. On average, the experience of both games features around 25 hours of gameplay for the main story. Naturally, an individual's playthrough time will vary, depending on how much they engaged with the side content or other various activities. However, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's post-game content should provide Trainers with at least a dozen hours of creature-collecting or more, including the limited-time events that Game Freak has prepared for the future.

After the credits finish rolling in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, fans will be met with a "thank you" screen, after which the post-game portion will officially begin from the Trainer protagonist's bedroom. The following event is unmissable, as one of the main NPCs will call the protagonist to their office, where players will receive a Master Ball. For those new to the franchise, this Poké Ball is off unmatchable power, enabling its wielder to catch any wild Pokémon without fail.

Post-Game Content for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Such as Participating in 6-Star Tera Raids

After receiving the Master Ball in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, Trainers will be tasked with rematching all of the Gym Leaders they previously defeated during the main story. According to Polygon, players do not need to worry about redoing any Gym Tests, as this requirement is not necessary for the post-game. Once all the leaders have been beaten a second time, the player protagonist will be summoned to the central plaza in Mesagoza, where they can participate in the Academy Ace Tournament. This competition involves players facing four random challengers, such as their teachers, members of the Elite Four, and other formidable opponents. Like the Pokémon League of past titles, the Academy Ace Tournament is repeatable for various rewards.

Once players have rematched the Gym Leaders and achieved victory in the Academy Ace Tournament, there are several more post-game activities that Trainers can partake in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. While this bonus content is relatively easy to find through gameplay, YouTuber BLAINES has saved fans much time by revealing the best things to do in the endgame:

  • Visit any Pokémon Center to gain access to the Judge Function, which will allow players to view their pocket monsters' IVs (Individual Values).
  • Return to Area 0 on the map to encounter and catch all the rare Paradox Pokémon in the wild. At the very bottom of this location, Trainers can also encounter their "Box Legendary," the Legendary Mount they have been using during their playthrough.
  • Speak with the protagonist's NPC companions to get closure regarding their story arcs, including some bonus post-game dialogue.
  • Unlock the Slowpoke Cup by acquiring a shaker of Sweet Herb Mystica from 5-Star Tera Raids.
  • Complete the Pokédex to receive the Shiny Charm as an ultimate reward from Professor Jacq.
  • Participating in 6- and 7-Star Tera Raids via the black Raid crystals in the open world of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
