Heartstopper is one of the best new TV shows of 2022, focusing on sexuality and gender issues facing teenagers today. Because of how genuinely they handled the storyline, it received positive feedback from viewers, as well as praise for its positive portrayals of LGBTQ+ relationships. The many aspects of the series provided realistic scenarios and depth that many other teen shows lack.
