The Trailblazer (Fire) in Honkai: Star Rail is a very versatile character that does decent damage, gives shields, and taunts enemies away from allies. This helpful support can be placed on any team needing a tank or sub-damage that can chip away at an enemy's health. Additionally, as a free-to-play character, Trailblazer (Fire) is accessible to everyone's teams no matter how lucky or unlucky Character Warps a player pulls are. Regardless of how one plays the game, this character should be used frequently, so collecting Ascension items is a must.

After finishing the Jarilo IV main storyline and reaching Trailblaze Level 24, the Trailblazer (Fire), one of the best characters in Honkai: Star Rail, will be unlocked for good. It is of the Preservation Path, meaning this character is based mainly around shielding and defenses. Ever-Burning Amber, its primary Skill, should be utilized on a team that needs redirection, as many enemies and bosses do splash damage. This means that focusing on the edges of a team can help characters avoid taking hard hits. With all this in mind, the Trailblazer (Fire) needs access to a decent amount of Skill Points, so a team that can balance their actions per turn is recommended.

Free-To-Play Trailblazer (Fire) Heroes

The Trailblazer (Fire) of the Preservation Path becomes a central part of a player doing a free-to-play run. The trick in doing more damage is to provide Asta's passive buff, which boosts Fire Damage. On top of this, the Trailblazer (Fire) is a great utility on a team for more survivability with Ever-Burning Amber. This gives Dan Heng, or the best Serval character builds in Honkai: Star Rail, an easier time dealing more damage depending on what the enemy is weak to. In addition, this team is balanced elementally, making it easier to break weaknesses. Finally, Natasha is the only Abundance free-to-play character necessary for healing and dispelling support.

Trailblazer (Fire) Elemental Team

Best for Honkai: Star Rail's Simulated Universe, this Trailblazer (Fire) team relies on Asta's Fire Elemental buff, all while burning opponents. All four teammates are of the Fire Element, which means that stacking burning damage over time is also very easy to do. Trailblazer (Fire) redirects damage, Asta buffs Speed and Attack, and Hook does massive single-target damage, all while Himeko follows up with her Victory Rush Talent to finish off enemies. Unfortunately, with no Path of Abundance on this team, it is helpful to make sure to have that Aeon unlocked. Alternatively, players can also opt for the Nihility Aeon to increase the burn damage from all of these characters.

SS-Tier Quality Character Team

One of the more popular team builds currently pairs some of the highest-tiered characters together to form an optimized team. This is because having either Seele or Jing Yuan as the primary damage dealer on the opposite side of Trailblazer (Fire) keeps them away from fatal attacks. As another great addition to this team, Bailu, one of the best support characters in Honkai: Star Rail, can make sure to keep the team alive with access to her revival Talent. Finally, creating Ultimate Energy in bulk with an added buff is necessary to maintain large damage numbers every turn with the Harmony Path wielder Tingyun.

  Set after the events of the ongoing game Honkai Impact 3rd, Honkai: Star Rail is a turn-based online RPG from developer Hoyoverse. Two members of the Astral Express, March 7th and Dan Heng, are on their way to the Herta Space Station with precious cargo when ambushed by members of a group known as the Antimatter Legion. Chaos ensues as among them is the god of destruction known as Aeon, who steals a seed known as a Stellaron, which they implant in an artificial human known as the "Trailblazer." Players will assume the role of this character as they try to avoid their fate and save all of civilization. Similar to gacha-style games, players can acquire more characters to add to their party by summoning and engaging in fast-paced turn-based battles in this epic Sci-fi online RPG.
