150 Photos of The Best Cosplay of Star Wars Celebration 2017

The 501st, Mandalorian Mercs, and all sorts of Reys, Sith Lords, Rebel Pilots steal the show at Star Wars Celebration 2017 in Orlando.

One of our favorite parts of attending conventions every year is the how the most passionate of fandom gets involved. From fan-run events and meet-ups to incredible cosplay. At Star Wars Celebration, this is taken to the next level.

We saw it in 2016 at Star Wars Celebration Europe in London and even more in Orlando for 2017's big event. You may have heard of the 501st legion, the volunteer Stormtrooper-themed organization who help raise awareness for Star Wars and various charitable causes, but there's more like them. We saw factions of Rebel pilots, the Mandalorian Mercs, groups of Sith Lords and fans of all ages joining in on cosplay and costuming.

You couldn't find a sightline anywhere in the Orange County Convention Center where there weren't characters from the Star Wars universe walking around.

Here's a gallery of some of the most fun and impressive Star Wars Celebration 2017 cosplay we discovered just by walking the show floor. Outside of the legions of Stormtroopers and Mandalorians, the most popular costume was by far Rey, followed by quite a few Kylo Rens. There were even a few Rogue One Jyn Ersos and Krennics walking the floor too in addition to more obscure characters from Star Wars Legends material and older Star Wars video games (looking at you Dash Rendar and Knights of the Old Republic fans!).

And yes, we saw some fun crossovers as well, from a Jedi Jack Sparrow and Disney Princesses to Wonder Woman and Batgirl mercenaries. And yes, Deadpool was just being Deadpool there as well.
