Naomi is unlike most other protagonists in the Arrowverse as she relies on her curiosity to get her far. With the first episode out and a full week left until the next one releases, fans of the new show should consider bingeing some other DC classics like it.

DC's Legends Of Tomorrow (2016 - ) - Available On Netflix

DCs Legends of Tomorrow team walking together

Legends Of Tomorrow, which is filled with many brave characters, is one of the longest running DC series out there and it has a pretty sizable ensemble cast. It follows a team of outcast superheroes who join together to stop supervillains from taking advantage of time travel and ruining the universe.

Just like Naomi, this show has plenty strong female characters and not all of them rely on superpowers to get them far. Also, because there are so many superheroes coming and going, it's almost impossible to not find at least one relatable character.

Legion (2017 - 2019) - Available On Hulu

Legions David smiles mischeviously

Legion has some of the best episodes of any Marvel show and is a bit of a darker take on X-Men. However, it does build up a great mystery just like Naomi. It follows David, the son of Professor X, who is super powerful, yet extremely unstable due to schizophrenia, drug abuse and his father's arch nemesis living in his head.

All in all, this show can get a little confusing at times, but it's one of the most fantastic and well produced superhero shows available. Not to mention, it can deal with mental health and trauma in really new and cool ways. The casting is also perfect.

Cloak And Dagger (2018 - 2019) - Available On Hulu

Cloak and Dagger duo stand anxiously in a club

Years after an oil rig explodes and two children survive the disaster together, Tandy and Tyrone find each other again and unlock powers they never had before meeting each other. This short lived show displays kids with bad home lives that find themselves in deep water, while also falling in love.

Overall, Cloak & Dagger is always visually stunning with the characters always dressed in black and white and the romance that builds is also quite appealing. Not only does this TV show have a black lead like Naomi, but it also has a strong female lead.

Runaways (2017 - 2019) - Available On Disney +

The Runaways kids stand ready for a fight

Runaways follows a group of teenagers who run away from their homes when they find out that their parents are evil and do whatever they can to stop them from getting what they want. The kids are all super likable and some even have powers that aid in their quest.

This group of diverse misfits will be great for any fan of Naomi to enjoy because it shows teens taking a stance on something that neither their parents or the world will stop from happening. These kids all feel alone because of their situations, but they come together to unlock the mysteries that their parents are hiding.

Peacemaker (2022) - Available On HBO Max

Peacemaker with his DC crew

Peacemaker is DC's best HBO Max series as it takes on a crass hero that will makes anyone chuckle at least a little bit. It follows Peacemaker as he joins a serious task force that he doesn't take all too seriously.

This show is another brand new series this month and although it's not very much of a mystery or a drama, it still has fun action and a cast of relatable characters. In a way, Peacemaker acts like an immature teenager and is sure to make fans of any DC superhero show have some fun.

Watchmen (2019) - Available On HBO Max

The Watchmen walk in mask

Watchmen takes place 34 years after the original story from the comics and follows Sister Night, a cop who fights racists while dealing with the long-lasting vigilante problem. Just like Naomi, it features a strong black female lead and tells a superhero story that isn't what audiences expect.

This series is extremely high quality and is one of the most development superhero stories out there. It's definitely a serious story that handles important issues like racism and crime, but it's also cinematically impressive.

Batwoman (2019 -) - Available On HBO Max

Batwoman played by Javicia Leslie holds her mask and wig in her hands

Batwoman follows the story of Kate, who takes on the vigilante persona to stop a prevalent gang from taking over Gotham after Batman's disappearance. Because Kate hands the costume over to Ryan Wilder in the second season, this show has two great female leads.

Though there has been a ton of controversy about this show after Ruby Rose stepped off the project, it's one of the more recent DC shows to come out and it flows into the world of Naomi really nicely. It's definitely something that acts as a perfect predecessor to the new show.

Supergirl (2015 - 2021) - Available On Netflix

Supergirl Kara stands ready to fight

Supergirl is about Kara, who many Redditors have unpopular opinions about, the cousin of Superman who lands on Earth years later. With her cousin's legacy leading her, she tries to keep her identity hidden and fight as many local bad guys as she possibly can.

This show also features a strong female lead who is a little naïve and still trying to figure out her powers on this strange planet. Though this show just recently ended, there are still numerous seasons to watch.

Black Lightning (2018 - 2021) - Available On Netflix

Black Lightning stands with his hands ready to electrocute

Black Lightning, at its heart, is a story about family and protecting them even against themselves. It follows Jefferson Pierce who, after realizing his daughter joined a street gang, picks back up his life as a vigilante to keep her out of danger.

This story has a strong black lead character who is motivated by his absolute love of his family and his love of keeping people safe. It also deals with some really heavy topics and doesn't let the age of the main character interfere with his abilities.

The Flash (2014 - ) - Available On Netflix

Barry Allen aka the flash stands in awe

The Flash is certainly the best show to watch after seeing Naomi because it's a good introduction to the DCU and it's still running unlike Arrow. The show follows Barry Allen who, after a strange incident at STARR Labs, develops the ability to run at superspeed.

This show has a little bit of mystery, romance and DC action to keep any superhero fan entertained. Not to mention, there are some fun crossover episodes with different characters from the universe that help root the world in the franchise.
