Although movies and TV shows have become among the most popular forms of fictionalized entertainment, audio dramas that would air on the radio used to be the go-to method of being entertained for a lot of people. Limetown

Limetown is a podcast that premiered in 2015 and is presented as an investigation done by a journalist named Lia. In the podcast, Lia is working for American Public Radio and is on location, doing an investigation into the mysterious disappearance of over 300 people at a neuroscience research facility located in Tennessee.

In 2018, the series was adapted into a live-action TV series for Facebook Watch and stars Jessica Alba as Lia. Ten episodes premiered in 2019 and although it wasn't renewed for a second season, two seasons of the podcast have been released and there's also a novel version of the story.

Wolverine

This podcast follows Dr. Bright, a therapist who works with a variety of different patients who all happen to be superheroes. These different patients each have their own powers and problems and their story as well as the history of Dr. Bright is the focus of this podcast.

Wooden Overcoats

Wooden Overcoats is a comedic podcast that began airing in 2015. This podcast follows a pair of siblings, Rudyard and Antigona, who own their family's funeral home and run it together. Although they're not the best funeral home in town, they manage to get the job done. When a seemingly perfect competitor opens up nearby, things get complicated.
