While very little of the full game of Baldur's Gate III can be played within the early access, there are still several interesting sets of armor to find. Named pieces that are specific to that have special enchantments and boons, wrapped in flavor text and lore to sate player's hunger for more depth and immersion.

Within the first act of the game, there are five headpieces, four sets of boots, three sets of gloves, two robes, one set of armor, and one shield. All for a grand total of 16 special pieces to adorn the characters from head to toe. With these in hand, players should be able to fully equip their party.

Arcane Circlet - Can be either bought from Nettie the healer in the Emerald Grove or dropped by Findal in the Underground passage.

Boots of Speed - A reward is given for giving Thulla an antidote in the Myconid Colony.

  • These rare boots are feather laced with a flexible sole. They are worth 450 gold pieces and grant the wearer the Click Heels ability.

  • This delicate rare circlet worth 650 gold pieces grants the wearer the Scorching Ray spell.

Disintegrating Night Walkers - Dropped by True Soul Nere in the Duergar Camp.

This particular pair belonged to an overly confident Dark Justiciar, who perished long ago while raiding the village of Moonhaven. Though the boots are slowly falling apart, a trace of their original enchantment remains. They grant the wearer the Night Walker status keeping them from becoming enwebbed, ensnared, or slipping. It also grants the wearer the Misty Step spell.

Gloves of Power - Dropped by Za'Krug near the Chapel Entrance.

  • These uncommon gloves are blessed by Priestess Gut, meant to aid anyone bearing the Absolute's Mark. They grant the wearer Absolute's Bane. Targets hit by the wearer may receive a d4 penalty on attack rolls and saving throws.

  • These uncommon leather gloves smell faintly of herbs and grant the player the Cleansing Touch which allows the wearer to remove the poisoned status from a creature when healing them.

Hellrider's Pride - Can be bought from Zevlor in the Druid Grove.

  • These uncommon gloves emanate a strange sulfur smell. When worn, the player gains a plus one to their Strength Saving Throw. They also have the Helm's Protection effect, which makes them particularly cool for a Cleric of Helm to wear. This enchantment gives the player resistance against Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing damage from weapon attacks when they heal a creature.

Helmet of Autonomy - Can be looted from a skeleton near the Festering Cove entrance in the Underdark.

  • This uncommon light armor helmet is made from bolted metal with a faded engraved script. This helm gives the wearer Wisdom saving throw proficiency.

Mystra's Grace - Can be looted from the Chest of the Mundane in the Arcane Tower.

  • These light armor boots feel like wearing clouds and give the wearer the Feather Fall spell.

Poisoner's Robe - Dropped by the Phase Spider Matriarch in the Whispering Depths.

  • This robe is found in the spider's stomach, emanating a sour smell and stings to the touch. When worn, this robe gives the wearer the Poison Trails effect which deals an additional 1d4 poison damage on any poison-based spells cast by the wearer.

Robe of Summer - Can be found in the Hidden Vault.

  • This rare piece of clothing is warm to the touch and gives the wearer resistance to cold damage.

  • This very rare cowl is of drowcraft. This helm gives the wearer the Shrouded in Shadow ability.

Spiderstep Boots - Dropped by a skeleton in the Whispering Depths.

  • These uncommon boots are slightly sticky to the touch and grant the wearer the Spider Step status, making them immune to being enwebbed.

The Oak Father's Embrace - Can be found in the Owlbear's Den.

  • This uncommon set of medium armor is embroidered with the saying, "Nature is the True State of the World." This armor also radiates a faint divine aura. This armor belongs to the Order of Nature which gives the armor a protective enchantment. When undead creatures attack a player with this armor set, they will receive 1d6 Radiant damage. When beasts attack the wearer, it deals 2d6 Radiant damage to them.

Warped Headband of Intellect - Can be taken from the smart ogre in the Blighted Village.

  • This uncommon circlet is covered in yellow slime and has pieces of half-digested mutton stuck within the gems. While rather gross, this circlet sets the wearer's intelligence to 18 which could be incredibly useful to a Wizard.
