Despite the fact that Destiny 2 has been around for years it isn't quite showing signs of going away any time soon. Players have the ability to explore its massive world and play with others all around the world in different quests as they attempt to collect stronger and better loot. The upside to the game having been out as long as it has is that players have found out how to create perfect builds for playing the game.

By putting together different kinds of gears and abilities players are able to create builds that can deal massive amounts of damage against their enemies. These builds can sometimes take a decent amount of work to acquire or require some serious skill on the part of the player to pull of, but they can be definitely worth it. This guide shows players the best Titan builds available for Destiny 2: Beyond Light. The Titan class in Destiny 2 is entirely made for soaking up tons of damage and dishing it right back out at its enemies. These builds will all be centered around enabling the Titan to do things that cause massive amounts of damage to others while still being able to avoid or shrug off enemy attacks.

Destiny 2: The Icefall Mantle Build

This build created by Fanbyte will be entirely centered around the Icefall Mantle Gauntlets and for very good reason. These gauntlets are capable of absorbing damage from attacks, but the problem is that they slow the player down considerably and have to recharge before being used again. This means that this entire build will be centered around trying to fix those limitations. This build only has a few core things that are necessary, so players can experiment with other mods and abilities that might add some very interesting elements to this mod. Here are the weapons that players will want:

  • Ikelos SMG V1.02 - This is integral to this build because it will allow players to create Warmind Cells, which will be very important later on when we get into mods.
  • Any high powered shotgun - Players will really just want something for close-range shooting. Shotguns are preferred, but anything deadly at point-blank range will work.
  • Any close range Power weapon - Once again this build prioritizes fighting at close range, so this is important. The different sword weapons are highly effective for this purpose.

This is the list of mods that players will need to make this build work as well:

  • Warmind's Protection - Since the SMG will be creating Warmind Cells as it kills enemies, this will in turn cause any enemies near a cell to cause reduced damage. This will basically allow the player to be able to shrug off even more damage on top of their shields.
  • Global Reach - Extends the range of the Warmind Cells, which will enable them to affect more enemies and also boosts the effectiveness of the Cells.
  • Fireteam Medic - This makes it to where any Warmind Cell that is destroyed will heal the player and their teammates. This is great for whenever the shield runs out or the Icefall Mantles wear off.
  • Swift Charge - On top of using Warmind Cells players will also want to use the Charged With Light mechanic to cause some other interesting effects. This mod will allow players to become Charged With Light as they quickly defeat enemies.
  • Protective Light - This mod will use all of that light the players are charging by turning it into a buff that increases their damage resistance. The idea here is that if both the Icefall Mantle and the normal shield fail, then this will trigger and give the player time to get away.

This build works by creating multiple shields to avoid damage, therefore allowing the player to rush enemies without worrying about dying. The SMG will be the main weapon used will running this build because when enemies are killed the player will create Warmind Cells. All the other enemies that are near these Cells will find themselves not being able to dish out as much damage, but even if they destroy these Cells they will just heal the player. As the player kills enemies in a row they will start racking up stacks of Charge With Light, which will then, in turn, be converted into an additional damage resistance because of Protective Light. This build can quite effectively turn the player into an unstoppable machine with the Mantle Shield, their main shield, health bar, and a continuous healing mechanic. All the player has to do is stay up close and personal and decimate all of the enemies they possibly can.

Destiny 2: Behemoth Subclass Build

Destiny 2

Rather than being centered around a specific exotic weapon, this Behemoth Subclass build created by PC Gamer is centered around the brand new Stasis Subclass for the Titan. The build is a little bit ridiculous in that players can use it to get up close and personal with their enemies, but it's also possible to throw near-unlimited grenades as well. Players will need to have the Behemoth and the Glacial Grenade in order to make this build work as well as Cryoclasm which allows them to shatter ice walls. Here are the weapons they will need:

  • Any Exotic - The upside to this build is that it doesn't require a specific exotic, so players can basically use whatever their favorite weapon is. A good idea though is to probably go with something for close-range fighting.
  • Deafening Whisper - This grenade launcher is ridiculously powerful and perfect for the purposes of this build.
  • Any Sword - Players will want a melee-focused weapon, and there is nothing better than one of the game's many swords.
  • Whisper of Shards Fragment - When players shatter a crystal shard they will increase their grenade recharge rate.

With that taken care of the players will then want to pick their mods:

  • Blast Radius - This mod allows the player to become Charged With Light every time they defeating multiple enemies at a time with their grenade launcher.
  • Firepower - This mod however will allow players to regain a portion of their grenade energy every time they throw one, but it will consume one stack of Charged With Light. Players will want four of this mod equipped.

This is how the build works. It sounds fairly complicated, but by being clever with this, players can effectively have infinite grenades. They will need to fire their grenade launcher at a group of enemies in order to become Charged With Light. They can then consume this stack by throwing a grenade at an enemy, which will cause a massive part of the grenade energy to refill thanks to Firepower. Players can then use their Aspect to break the crystals created by their grenade, kill the enemies caught nearby, and increase their grenade recharge rate. By doing all of this in conjunction players will easily be able to chain grenades together effectively forever. This can be a little tricky at first because if players mess up a step they can run out grenades pretty easily, but once they spend a little bit of time with it they will become naturals.
