Dince February 27, it's been reveal season for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Including the newest trailer in early June, the upcoming game has taken over the Pokémon YouTube community.

Pokémon YouTubers come in many different forms. Let's-players, TCG enjoyers, competitive battlers, Nuzlockers, and more encompass the wide variety of branches the franchise offers. Scarlet and Violet are exciting to the community for a variety of reasons, and during the hype leading up to release dat, there are plenty of YouTubers fans should follow.

UnlistedLeaf

UnlistedLeaf is one of the most popular PokémonTCG YouTubers, with an extensive collection and frequent box openings. With 2.5 million subscribers, he's one of the most popular Pokétubers around.

UnlistedLeaf is a showman with incredible enthusiasm for his craft. He's incredibly passionate about the TCG and unboxes all sorts of content new and old. For players interested in not just the trading card game and its current meta, but the history of the game's products, UnlistedLeaf is a great source of content.

MunchingOrange

MunchingOrange is a versatile YouTuber with a whopping 1.28 million subscribers. He does the rare occasional video outside his main franchise, but nearly every video is some sort of Pokémon content.

Like many YouTubers in the scene, much of MunchingOrange's content has been theorizing about Scarlet & Violet. These teams can be anything from revolving around a single animal, one evolution line, or only baby Pokémon. For competitive battlers who like the idea of fun theme or gimmick teams, PIMPNITE is a good choice.

GlitchxCity

GlitchxCity, with 319k subscribers, takes a different route from the average Pokémon YouTuber. Her specialties lie in remixes of famous Pokémon music.

GlitchxCity is arguably most famous for designing the music of Pokémon Reborn, one of the more lengthy and difficult Pokémon ROMhacks out there. Though it's her remixes of themes from the original games that are the calling card that made her popular, and even the older ones still hold up as incredible remixes.

Blunder

With 94.9k subscribers, Blunder is a bit lesser known than some of the other super famous PokéTubers, partially because his niche is so ingrained in competitive play.

Blunder is a comedic competitive battler who specializes in Pokémon Showdown's competitive 6v6 singles formats. He frequently partners with other PokéTubers and spends time on calls going through competitive battles. He's especially good at giving highlights to lesser-used Pokémon, and always is an entertaining source for more competitive players.

Marriland

Marriland is one of the most versatile of all PokéTubers in terms of Pokémon-related content. With 401k subscribers, he's a pretty popular PokéTuber with many fans.

Marriland has a diverse portfolio of Pokémon-related entertainment. He's an avid trading card game player, a let's-player, a nuzlocker, and he even occasionally covers Pokémon news. For all around fans of the franchise who love everything related to Pokémon, Marriland is a great overall person to watch.

Shofu

With 684k subscribers, Shofu is one of the most popular names in the competitive battling community. However, Shofu covers a lot more than just competitive Pokémon.

Shofu is one of the funniest personalities in the community, but he also covers game outside of Pokémon. For fans of Super Smash Bros and rap music, Shofu specializes in both. He also has unique Pokémon, Smash, and anime-inspired raps, including the fairly infamous Pokémon Cypher videos that fans need to check out.

WolfeyVGC

For many fans, a channel with a specific niche in the series is what they want. For fans of competitive double battles in Pokémon, Wolfey VGC is arguably the best content creator there is. His 571k subscribers come as a product of his skill and knowledge.

VGC, the primary form of officially sponsored competitive play, is Wolfey's specialty. He's one of the best VGC players in the entire world, and just watching his videos can make a passionate and watchful viewer better at the game. For fun, he also will occasionally do general rankings and tier lists in addition to his VGC videos.

PokeaimMD

For fans of Pokémon Showdown, there is perhaps no better YouTuber than PokeaimMD. Also simply referred to as "Joey" by most of his fans, PokeaimMD is a competitive battling genius with 286k subscribers.

For players who want to get better at climbing the competitive ladder on Showdown, PokeaimMD is fantastic at helping players grow. He eloquently explains his movesets, item choices, and plays all while being entertaining and having special guests on his channel to play with. He also has a killer rap verse in one of Shofu's Pokémon Cyphers.

Pokémon Challenges

One of the most iconic niches in the Pokémon community is Nuzlockes, and Pokémon Challenges with 540k subscribers isn't just popular; he's arguably the best Nuzlocker in the world.

After rising to fame by reviewing a Nuzlocke by fellow YouTuber Jaiden Animations, Pokémon Challenges' playthroughs of difficult ROM hacks like Emerald Kaizo became widely viewed on both Twitch and YouTube. With plenty of fun Pokémon tier lists and Nuzlocke reviews to go with his own brilliant playthroughs, Pokémon Challenges is one of the best PokéTubers out there.
