Silent Library was a reality game show that ran on MTV for three seasons between 2009 and 2010. The contestants, who were sometimes celebrities, had to complete unique challenges inside of a library. No matter how absurd the challenges were, they had to stay completely silent in order to win money prizes.

The challenges on the show could get quite ridiculous, including slinging cupcakes into each others' faces and getting punched by ATM machines. Silent Library is wildly entertaining, and for some, it could be considered one of the best MTV reality shows of all time despite its short run.

Each season, a group of tattoo artists compete for a lump sum of money and the title of that season's Ink Master. The show has incredibly high stakes; each week, the artists execute real tattoos on real people.

The competition is intense, and it can be both entertaining and cringy to watch the artists leave their mark on the willing participants. Over the course of Ink Master's 13 seasons, there have definitely been both impressive and questionable designs permanently placed on people's bodies.

Bar Rescue (2011-) - 7.5

The series Bar Rescue follows host Jon Taffer as he visits bars that are at risk of going under and in dire need of assistance. Bar Rescue is highly entertaining for Taffer's reactions to the unexpected things he finds throughout each bar he visits. Plus, it can be super satisfying to watch a bar's transformation throughout an episode.

After so many successful seasons of Survivor with American casts, it only makes sense that citizens of other countries would want to get in on the action too. One of the best iterations of the show is Australian Survivor, which essentially follows the exact same format as its predecessor.

Even after a short cancellation, Australian Survivor has received rave reviews in its eight seasons. It's not surprising that the series has been expanded internationally considering that Survivor is arguably the best strategy reality show, but it is interesting that this specific international version ranks so much higher than the original.
