October Faction (2020)

October Faction is a new addition to the Netflix family and so far have received okay reviews from audiences. The show is based on the comic series of the same name by Steve Niles and Damien Worm. Fans who have binge-watched the show are content with what the show has to offer but feel as if it's missing a bit more intrigue.

The show centers around a monster-hunting couple named Fred (J.C. MacKenzie) and Deloris Allen (Tamara Taylor). They must keep their identity as members of a secret organization hidden as they return to their hometown. The show deals with a lot of family drama as Fred and Deloris have to take care of their teenage children while fighting off monsters.

V Wars (2019)

Ian Somerhalder is in another vampire show but this time it's not meant for more adult audiences. V Wars is a science fiction horror show on Netflix that is based around the graphic novels by Jonathan Maberry. The show has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences don't mind watching the show. Audiences feel as if the show lacked engaging qualities and made it more of a B-rated show.

The show centers around physician-scientist Dr. Luther Swann (Ian Somerhalder) and his best friend Michael Fayne (Adrien Holmes). Society is at odds ends as climate change and an ancient vampire virus causes an outbreak that could lead to possible war. Humans and vampires are again mortal enemies.

Diablero (2018)

The Netflix original, Diablero premiered in 2018 and fans are loving it so far. Some fans rave about the shows comedic moments intertwined with its intense demonic storyline. The show is a Mexican television web series originally based on the book by Mexican writer, Francisco Haghenbeck.

This show is a must-watch if you're a fan of the show, Supernatural. It has some of the same elements that make it worth watching. The show revolves around Father Ramiro Ventura (Christopher von Uckermann). He seeks the aid of legendary demon hunter, Elvis Infante (Horacio García Rojas ), who is also known as "Diablero." Alongside Nancy Gama (Gisselle Kuri), the trio help save humanity.

The Umbrella Academy (2019)

The Umbrella Academy became a fan favorite when it premiered on Netflix in 2019. Audiences thought the show was a wonderful and interestingly conceived look of a highly dysfunctional family. The series is based on the comic book series by the same name. The plot revolves around a not to a typical family with superhuman abilities.

Billionaire, Sir Reginald Hargreeves (Colm Feore) adopts seven children from around the world from women who gave birth simultaneously with no previous symptoms of pregnancy. These seven children have supernatural abilities and form the superhero group, The Umbrella Academy. The problem is they don't get along as they have gone separate ways when they reached adulthood. With the death of their father, they have to reunite to find his killer and stop a possible apocalypse.

Altered Carbon (2018)

Altered Carbon got rave reviews from audiences when its first season aired in 2018. Fans were hooked for 10 episodes straight in the chaotic cyberpunk world it had to offer. The show was based on the 2002 novel of the same name by Richard K. Morgan. Set 360 years into the future, a person's memory and consciousness are uploaded into a "cortical stack".

Stacks can be transferred into physical human bodies or synthetic ones called "sleeves." Takeshi Kovacs is a skilled mercenary and sole survivor of a rebellion group called Envoy. His stack is implemented into a new body and is given the option of solving the murder of Meth Laurens Bancroft. Kovacs discovers a truth he never expected.

Lucifer (2016)

The show Lucifer wasn't necessarily a Netflix original until 2019. The show originally aired on Fox in 2016 for three seasons, before it was canceled. In 2019, Netflix picked up the series for a new fourth season and later renewed it for its fifth and final season.

The show is a hit among fans and can be described as a gem. Fans rave for its addictive storyline and the great performances of its actors. Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) gets bored ruling hell and instead abandons it to open a nightclub in Los Angeles called "Lux". He gets involved in a murder case with detective Chloe Becker (Lauren German) and becomes a consultant for the LAPD. Not even the devil himself can outrun his duties, as demons and celestial beings threaten LA and the people he cares for.

The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina (2019)

Sabrina the teenage witch gets a new look in this Netflix original series, The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina. The show aired in 2019, based on the Archie comics of the same name. Fans can't get enough of the series and are loving the new dark twist the show takes compared to its original rendition of the character back in 1996.

Sabrina Spellman is half-mortal and half-witch, and she struggles with finding a balance between the two. When she comes of age to commit herself to the Dark Lord and the world of magic, she struggles with the idea of leaving her human life behind. Her actions have grave consequences as she tries to find loopholes in her situation, but her family and the inhabitants of Greendale are threatened by the predicament.

Black Mirror (2011)

Black Mirror shocked audiences when it first premiered back in 2011. The British science fiction anthology created by Charlie Booker examines modern society and its many faults. Each episode of the show is different from the other, but can sometimes have hidden connections. The episodes create a near-future possibility of the consequences new technology can bring.

The Witcher (2019)

The Witcher is one of the top Netflix original shows streaming since its premiere in 2019. It caught audiences' attention when it was announced by Netlfix that it was already renewed for its second season before the first even premiered. It got audiences excited to see the on-screen portrayal of the famous video games and novels of the same name.

Geralt of Rivia, or the Witcher (Henry Cavill), is a monster hunter with some peculiar skills. He is the result of experimentation and training that gave him the ability to conjure magic, pale skin, white hair, and yellow eyes. His skills as a Witcher are renowned among townspeople. The story follows his path as it is intertwined with a young princess named Ciri (Freya Allen) and a witch named Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra).
