Get Him to the Greek follows Russell Brand's rockstar character Aldous Snow from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. The film follows Jonah Hill's character as he attempts to escort the wild and depressed rockstar to various interviews and to a titular concert at the Greek Theater. It quickly becomes a raunchy and over-the-top comedy, but enjoyable nonetheless. Although Nick Kroll only has a small part in this film as a co-worker of Jonah Hill, it's worth a watch if you're a fan of Forgetting Sarah Marshall and the raunchy comedy genre. 

The Secret Life Of Pets 2 (2019) - 6.5

This animated sequel again follows the secret life of a few pets, mostly cats and dogs, and chronicles what kind of wild adventures they get into when their owners leave their homes. The second film gets even more insane as the pets try to free a white tiger cub from the villainous circus ringleader, voiced by Nick Kroll. It's a fun and carefree animated flick with some laughs and great voice actors including Patton Oswalt, Kevin Hart, Jenny Slate, and Harrison Ford. Worth a watch if you're in the mood for an animated film!

Operation Finale (2018) - 6.6

Operation Finale is based on the true story of the search for one of the most notorious Nazi criminals of World War II. The film follows Peter Malkin's (played by Oscar Isaac) search for the war criminal.

Once Malkin finds where the criminal has been hiding he puts together a team and devises a plan to catch him. Although reviews are mixed for this film, overall it's a good and engaging watch and definitely an interesting watch to see Nick Kroll in a dramatic role.

Kroll Show (2013-2015) - 6.7

The Comedy Central sketch comedy show, Kroll Show, starred Nick Kroll in various roles with reoccurring guest stars including Jenny Slate, John Mulaney, and Jon Daly. Although it only ran for a few seasons it had countless iconic sketches including "PubLIZity" where Slate and Kroll played two hilariously ditzy publicity personalities named Liz and "Too Much Tuna" where Kroll and Mulaney dressed up as elderly men who would prank others with too much tuna on sandwiches. It's a hilarious sketch show that is an essential watch for any Nick Kroll fan!

I Love You, Man (2009) - 7.0

Loving (2016) - 7.0

Loving is based on the true story of the interracial couple, Richard Loving (Joel Edgerton) and Mildred Jeter (Ruth Negga), who lobbied the courts to abolish the ban on interracial marriage and eventually won the landmark case. The film follows their timeline from falling in love, being banned from Virginia, having their children, and finally getting their case before the federal Supreme Court, being represented by ACLU attorney, Bernie Cohen (played by Nick Kroll.) Overall Loving has stellar reviews with Edgerton and Negga being nominated for their portrayals, and Kroll has a great turn as their lawyer.

Sing (2016) - 7.1

This light-hearted and feel-good animated musical film follows a ragtag group of animals that all join a singing competition run by Buster Moon the koala, voiced by Matthew McConaughey. The film also boasts the singing talents of Taron Egerton, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, and Reese Witherspoon as contestants in the singing competition, including Nick Kroll who sings a few hilarious songs as an overzealous pig. Sing is a delightful film with a great soundtrack and is definitely worth the watch!

Oh, Hello On Broadway (2017) - 7.8

Oh, Hello On Broadway is a stage show of Nick Kroll and John Mulaney's sketch show characters, the elderly Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland. The two reprise their roles from Kroll Show for the Broadway stage and Netflix filmed and immortalized one night of their Broadway run. It's a meandering show in the best of ways as Gil and George attempt to act in a play about their own outrageous lives and hilariously continue to break character. They bring back the "Too Much Tuna" skit and prank special guest Steve Martin. The show is chaotic and hilarious and shows Kroll and Mulaney at their best.

Big Mouth (2017- ) -8.0

Big Mouth is an animated Netflix series created by Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Jennifer Flackett, and Mark Levin and loosely based on Kroll and Goldberg when they were growing up. It's about a group of young middle schoolers going through puberty in all its uncensored awkwardness.

Kroll voices several characters on the show, most notably main character Nick and the Hormone Monster Murray, and frequent collaborators John Mulaney and Jenny Slate also lend their voices to the screen as Andrew and Missy. It's a hilariously cringy and relatable show that's worth a watch.

The League (2009-2015) - 8.2

The League was a very popular television show about a group of extremely competitive friends in a Fantasy Football league. Although the show centered around football, being obsessed with football or knowing the ins and outs of fantasy leagues certainly wasn't a prerequisite, it was a witty and fun situational comedy about a close group of friends. Nick Kroll plays one of the main core characters, Ruxin, and his deadpan sarcasm hilariously shines in every episode. If you haven't checked this series out, it's a great watch and essential for any Nick Kroll fan!
