Starring Kathryn Hahn and Paul Giamatti, this story is totally wholesome and relatable, and tells an honest and hilarious tale of struggling with infertility, and the life events that happen to change their mind towards adoption or third party reproduction. If you haven't seen this hidden gem yet, we definitely suggest it for an honest and heartfelt flick.

10 The King (2019) - 7.3/10

This is one of the newest Netflix Original films, and it clearly did pretty well on IMDb. This is a historical war drama that tells the true tale of King Henry V and his rise to the throne, as well as his role in his most successful battle. Timothee Chalamet is the King, and he absolutely slays this lead role.

However, you can also find Joel Edgerton, Robert Pattinson, and Tom Fisher in the mix. This movie has action, humor, and is definitely full of suspense and drama. Plus, the acting and directing is honestly spectacular.

9 Okja (2017) - 7.3/10

This film is probably one of Bong Joon Ho's best, and it definitely gave us one of the most unique and incredible stories we've ever watched. A young girl works endlessly to prevent a powerful company from kidnapping her best friend.

However, her best friend is a beast like has never seen before, and its name is Okja. Starring Tilda Swinton, Jake Gyllenhaal, Paul Dano, and Seo-hyn Ahn, this movie will definitely be the wholesome fix you need.

8 The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018) - 7.3/10

This Oscar nominated film is an Old Western, and follows the lives of six people and their unique tales. A singing gunslinger, Buster Scruggs, takes the spotlight, but you'll also find a bank robber, a traveling impresario, a couple of bounty hunters, and an elderly prospector.

Directed by the Coen Brothers, this film has Tim Blake Nelson, Willie Watson, Clancy Brown, and many more. This is also a very unique film, and it's more than worth your time.

7 Dolemite is My Name (2019) - 7.4/10

You might be surprised to find this on the list, but this biography comedy drama clearly scored pretty well. This movie stars Eddie Murphy, who portrays the real-life Rudy Ray Moore, a rapper and comedian who has a hilarious alter ego: Dolemite.

Taking place in the '70s, you can expect all kinds of hilarious, quirky, and totally intriguing parts to this story. This tale definitely needed to be told, and clearly the cast and crew did a pretty good job in telling it.

6 El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019) - 7.5/10

Maybe this is surprising, and maybe it's not, but we all know that the TV show Breaking Bad is absolutely brilliant. So, it's probably not a far stretch that this spin-off sequel-type flick is also spectacular.

This movie focuses mainly on Jesse Pinkman, and takes place after the finale, of course, of the television show. 5 Beasts of No Nation (2015) - 7.7/10

This is a war drama based on the experience of a child soldier. Of course, this movie is tragic and totally devastating, but it's an eyeopening and beautiful film. It focuses on Agu, a child soldier who is fighting in the civil war of an African country.

This is definitely another hidden gem, and tells an absolutely crucial tale of war and childhood. If you haven't seen this, we definitely suggest it, because it is definitely a story that needs to be told. Plus, the film is absolutely mesmerizing. Plus, you can find Idris Elba in a leading role.

4 The Two Popes (2019) - 7.7/10

This biography comedy drama managed to do pretty well on IMDb. Starring Jonathan Pryce and Anthony Hopkins, this film tells the tale of conservative Pope Benedict and liberal Pope Francis as they try to find a common ground for the Catholic Church. Clearly, this movie has stellar acting, and it's actually totally wholesome and hilarious.

3 Roma (2018) - 7.7/10

This Netflix Original scored 3 Oscars, included Best Directing, Best Achievement in Cinematography, and Best Foreign Language Film of the Year. Obviously, this movie is Spanish, and tells the life of a middle-class family's maid in Mexico during the 1970s. In a time of political unrest, this movie is absolutely breathtaking, heart-wrenching, and totally heartfelt.

You will endure an emotional roller-coaster ride, and Alfonso Curaon's directing will have you absolutely mesmerized. Seriously, this movie deserves way more credit, and is a stunning and emotional watch.

2 Marriage Story (2019) - 8.4/10

This is probably also an unlikely film to take the silver medal on this list, but nonetheless it did. This comedy drama stars Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver, and we doubt we need to tell you anything else. However, if you need to know, this movie gives an inside look at a marriage breaking up and a family staying together.

Directed by Noah Baumbach, this movie is relatable, wholesome, and totally intriguing. You can also find Merrit Wever, Laura Dern, Wallace Shawn, and Ray Liotta in the mix, so you definitely don't want to skip over this one.

1 The Irishman (2019) - 8.7/10

This isn't exactly a pure Netflix Original, but Netflix has gotten its hands on it, and it's officially being distributed by the popular streaming service. Plus, it's the highest on the list, so we couldn't help but include it anyways. This is Martin Scorsese's newest flick, and it stars the brilliant Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, and many more.

This movie tells the tale of a mob hitman who recalls his involvement with the slaying of Jimmy Hoffa. That's right, this biography crime drama will fill all of your crime, mob, and Scorsese needs. Plus, an 8.7 is pretty impressive, and we're definitely hearing Oscar bells. This flick hits Netflix on November 27th, 2019.
