Minecraft players have come up with lots of designs that can be recreated in other games with building features, such as The Sims 4 and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Because of the variety of items and tools that they can use when building, most of these designs can be recreated in other games, making them versatile for all players. This allows them to exercise their creativity in several platforms as they deal with the limitations of each game and do their best to use these designs in a creative way.

One of Minecraft’s most important aspects is exercising player creativity. Building is important to the fanbase, but it’s not limited to the scenarios they can live within the Survival Mode of the game. When playing in the Creative Mode, with unlimited items and health, they can create all kinds of brilliant designs and features, such as the recreation of Bloodborne’s Yharnam in Minecraft. There is no proper limit to what can be done with these powerful building tools other than the boundaries of players’ imaginations, and the game often surprises people with how much it can be done by piling up cubes.

However, when transporting these concepts into other titles, they can become more realistic and intriguing in different ways, conforming to their restrictions, instead. Nearly all castles and other large buildings can be recreated in titles like Townscaper, which provides a grid and easy controls for players to enjoy. Other designs, including the iconic Minecraft end portal, can be recreated using custom patterns in Animal Crossing. And, for house builds that are severely limited by the lack of proper furniture in Minecraft, there are always games like The Sims 4, with a Build/Buy menu where recreations become more realistic than the original builds.

Build Minecraft Survival Castles In Townscaper

TOWNSCAPER-MINECRAFT-SURVIVAL-CASTLE

Townscaper is an indie title dedicated to designing and building cities over an endless ocean. The game’s controls are very intuitive, with mere mouse clicks allowing players to place all types of structures that can be combined to form a greater location, and its relaxing atmosphere allows players to enjoy themselves when designing. Despite its purposefully irregular grid, it’s an excellent tool for recreating large designs from Minecraft and exploring their decorative aspects or planning them out and preparing for when they will be transported into the blocky universe.

This is the case with this survival castle initially designed by disruptive builds on YouTube, which, much like other fortress megabuilds in Minecraft, can be recreated in Townscaper. While it was created with the intent of being useful for storage-keeping, organizing items and tools and providing a safe space for players, in Townscaper, its purpose becomes purely decorative. However, the implications that someone lives there become even more apparent, given its randomized decorations, such as clothing lines, plants, benches, and boxes. Although not every aspect of the initial design can be perfectly copied into Townscaper, it provides an excellent replica and a powerful tool to plan out large buildings before entering Creative Mode.

Minecraft Houses Become More Realistic In The Sims 4

Attempting to recreate real-life locations and buildings in Minecraft, such as houses and restaurants, is a common trend, especially when designing cities in Creative Mode. However, Minecraft, despite being a game that offers many tools for players’ own self-expression, still lacks proper furniture items, which can be very frustrating, and contributes to making building in other games better than in Minecraft. While some players work around this by using objects and items in specific configurations to make them look like furniture, others mod the game and add new furniture assets to it to make their builds look more life-like. But, when recreating these buildings in The Sims 4, they become unique and usable for a sim to live in.

Such is the case with the recreation of Rizzial’s small modern house in The Sims 4. While in Minecraft it could be used for decoration for a larger town, house villagers, or even become a proper base for players who enjoy the aesthetic, in The Sims 4, it becomes even more realistic. When using the many furniture items offered by the now free to play The Sims 4 base game, a player can create an incredible design. And, unlike Townscaper, the grid in the game is linear, which can also help players prepare for their next builds.

Minecraft End Portal Is A Cool House Decoration In ACNH

MINECRAFT-ACNH-END-PORTAL

The Minecraft End portal is one of the most important structures in the game. They are the only way a player can access The End, a separate dimension full of Endermen and items that can’t be found in other locations, like the Elytra. It’s also the home to Minecraft’s final boss, the Ender Dragon, a black dragon that roams the skies and guards its egg with great diligence, attacking any players that enter this realm. Finding the End portal fast in Minecraft determines a major objective when playing, followed up closely with finding the first diamond, defeating The Wither, and diving deep into the Nether. Because of this, the design of both the stronghold where it’s located and the portal itself remain a well-known part of Minecraft. But, with the right custom designs, it can be recreated and used as a nice decoration in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

An ACNH player called DannyThePandabrother on YouTube showcased a brilliant recreation of the End portal made using custom patterns, turning this memorable item into a decoration for all player’s house. However, this can also be done using other items and locations, due to Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ powerful tool for creating custom designs and patterns that can be used on any island.

Make Minecraft Dirt Shacks For Your Challenges In The Sims 4

Ironically enough, dirt blocks can be one of the most versatile blocks, being used to make huge dirt cathedrals in Minecraft. However, it’s most frequently used to build small shacks, which have become iconic due to their utility. When starting out in a new world, any player can collect several dirt blocks and use them to build a small, safe space, that keeps them safe from most threats that come with the nights. However, the use of dirt shacks isn’t restricted to only Minecraft, as even games like The Sims 4 can benefit from their use.

Dirt shacks are also the perfect starting point for the “Rags To Riches” type of challenges. Much like in Minecraft, players must scavenge for money and resources to make themselves a small shack in which they can spend the nights while they live through a bankruptcy scenario in The Sims 4. With enough money, a player can camp out in the wilderness and work towards other goals, and the dirt shack can be abandoned for a more comfortable house.

Being a game that allows for much flexibility when building, Minecraft players can create all sorts of new designs and builds in each of their worlds, both in Survival and in Creative Mode. Because of this, they can plan out or copy their creations into other games with mechanics and tools like these, even though they must adapt to other boundaries and limitations. However, with the game being constantly updated to include more types of blocks, creatures and features, this transition can only become easier and easier.
