Thor Odinson is having quite the adventure in his latest film. Love and Thunder details a new journey, which will also include his old flame, Jane Foster. She was a scientist who was always in awe of the world he introduced her to while he was equally awestruck by her brains and beauty.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has plenty of endearing love stories to share. These are the couples who created them due to the lasting impressions they left. Those impressions can sometimes be strong ones while also intimidating. These traits stand out the most, both individually and when they're together.

Clint & Laura Barton

This badass pair is one of the more relatable couples of the MCU. They have a good balance between family life and the superhero world. There's always talk of how proud they are of each other for keeping everything together, both at home and out on the field. They're an endearing couple full of mutual support and admiration.

As Hawkeye, Clint is known for his special talent: archery. He's a top marksman with accuracy to hit targets, making up for his lack of superpowers. Laura hasn't shown much of her skills from her S.H.I.E.L.D. days, but she's always there to offer Clint anything he needs. Whether it's information for missions or words of encouragement to help him carry on.

Peter Parker & Michelle Jones

This is a couple who are as badass as they are adorable. Here was a realistic evolution of a high school relationship. The casual acquaintances who awkwardly pined for one another would go on to form a strong bond and a relationship built on loyalty and showing each other the upside of situations. Fans can hope they'll salvage what they had before Peter's selfless yet heartbreaking decision.

With the powers of a spider, Peter keeps his neighborhood safe with swiftness, strength, and good sense. M.J. is tough in her own way, with some scene-stealing moments in No Way Home, despite not possessing special skills. She still has no trouble fighting alongside her web-wielding boyfriend. She's aware of the complications that come with dating him, which makes her more protective of him.

Bruce Banner & Natasha Romanoff

The awkwardly sweet scientist is one of the few Natasha can open up to. Meanwhile, she's one of the few with the capability to tame the Hulk if he becomes out of control. The pair struggle in coping with their past trauma. With that in common, they can assure each other there's more to them than their inner demons.

Bruce may view his powers as a curse, but he'll always do what he can to use them for good. When not using his intelligence to invent plans or new technology, he'll summon the Hulk for brute strength if the time comes for it. Natasha is a former assassin turned super spy. She's shown countless times how she can hold her own against more superpowered opponents, making them a truly badass pair.

Steve Rogers & Peggy Carter

A badass romance with not enough time. Though they were mostly apart, they never stopped carrying a torch for each other. After everything they've gone through and accomplished, both never stopped seeing each other as the missing piece they needed to feel whole.

Steve Rogers' morality made him the perfect candidate to become the first superhero. He was gifted with enhanced agility, self-healing, and strength, but kept his good heart. Peggy Carter was a spy ahead of her time. During a time when women were discouraged from reaching their full potential, she worked twice as hard as the men she fought with and against. She would go on to help pave the way for S.H.I.E.L.D., which she helped found.

T'Challa & Nakia

This badass pair are a great power couple. They prioritize duty over romance and have conflicting ideas on how to better serve their country. Though because of how much they love and respect one another, they don't have issues hearing each other out until coming to an agreement.

As the king of Wakanda and Black Panther, T'Challa manages to wield both political and physical power. He's shown great strength as both, but it's as his alter ego where he also shows off speed and cat-like reflexes as he faces Black Panther's most powerful villains. His on-again, off-again girlfriend, Nakia, isn't as superpowerful, but she is still a versatile spy and warrior. She's dedicated to her work and feels Wakanda can be doing more for not only themselves but the whole world.

Tony Stark & Pepper Potts

Pepper and Tony are the First Couple of the MCU and have rightfully earned that title. They've shown what amazing skills they have, both alone and together. They're equal in brains and wit and have saved each other on multiple occasions. They're each other's rock, which is always proven by how they fight side-by-side.

Tony is a genius billionaire turned superhero. As Iron Man, he puts his ingenuity for technology to great use. His assistant turned CEO is no slouch herself. She's one of the few who can match his verbal wit and control his reckless behavior. Her heroism is displayed through moments like saving Tony with fire powers and putting on her own supersuit to help save the world.

Marc Spector/Steven Grant & Layla El-Faouly

Layla and Steven infiltrate a tomb in Moon Knight.

This is a badass couple who come with many complications. They met after the death of Layla's father and reunited when unaware Steven was fronting his and Marc's body. There's still love between them, as shown in how protective they are of each other. She does her best to understand his actions while he makes a better effort to be more honest and less pessimistic.

With powers from an Egyptian god, Marc Spector can fight off any opponent with otherworldly strength and agility. As his alter, Steven Grant, he displays genius-level intelligence for situations too difficult to grasp. Layla is just as brave and smart as her estranged husband. Even before becoming Taweret's Avatar, she was a resourceful archaeologist with a willingness to dive into danger.

Scott Lang & Hope van Dyne

Scott Lang and Hope in Ant-Man and the Wasp.

This couple is as badass as they are hilarious. As a crime-fighting duo, they're mostly in sync. They hype each other up when it's needed. Whether it's Scott being trained to be Ant-Man or when Hope was doing what she could to locate her mother. It's all while sharing hilarious banter in between.

Scott is a former thief who is also a goofball with a heart of gold and plenty of Ant-Man quotes that make people love him. That doesn't stop him from being quite brave as Ant-Man. As his superhero persona, he has the ability to shrink and enlarge himself along with nearby objects. Hope, although more limited with her sizing technology as Wasp, is the more level-headed of the two. She's a far better fighter, can fire off energy blasts, and fly.

Peter Quill & Gamora

Peter Quill talking to Gamora.

This badass pair is a perfect example of "opposites attract" with how they balance each other out. Gamora helps Peter shape up during important situations. In response, he assures her that it's okay to let loose every now and then. When combining their different sets of skills and traits, they're great assets to their team of offbeat heroes.

Gamora is the more traditional badass, as she's more skilled in combat due to her training as an assassin. Peter Quill, meanwhile, is a space outlaw who thinks very highly of himself. He's not physically capable as the other members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. What he lacks there, he makes up for with his knack for gadgets and his out-of-the-box thinking.

Wanda Maximoff & Vision

Though an unconventional pair, this badass couple has a genuine connection. They help each other bring out their human sides while also reminding the other that there's more to them than what everyone else sees. They're an unstoppable team, whether they're fighting as a couple, or alongside their equally powerful sons.

Wanda is a powerful witch who fuels her magic with her troubling emotions. She has no problems disposing of those who stand in the way of the happiness she desires. This can sometimes make her as scary as she is badass and also lead to some heartbreaking Wanda moments. Vision is on the more logical side, being an android that was brought to life by members of The Avengers before being revived by Wanda. He's the perfect mix of brains, brawn, and alien technology.
