Keqing is one of the best sword users in Genshin Impact. This guide will show players the best possible build, weapons, and artifacts to use for this character. As more characters are introduced into the game, it becomes difficult to determine which characters remain the best while others fall down in quality. It's not these characters becoming worst, but the game introducing new characters that can do the job better. Kequing herself was introduced back in September 2020 and is one of the fastest sword users in the game. Combining that with her Electro ability allows players to dish out some serious damage. This guide will show players the best possible build for this character.

For starters, players will need to pull for this 5-star character like all of the rest. She is available as a permanent part of the Wanderlust Invocation banner but it will be extremely unlikely to pull for this character rather than another. She is also a part of the Dance of Lanterns banner, but this one is currently unavailable in the game. It will likely return in the future as many older banners have. For those lucky enough to pull this character, here is the best possible build for her.

The Best Build For Keqing in Genshin Impact (Weapon, Artifacts, Talents)

Keqing wields a purple sword in Genshin Impact.

This build capitalizes on her quick attacks and Electro elemental attacks. She will function as the main DPS on the team.

  • Weapon: Primordial Jade Cutter: This will provide a 15%+ Electro Damage Boost and 18%+ Attack boost. Alternatively, players can use the Summer Shaper.
  • Artifacts: 2 Thundering Fury and 2 Gladiator's Finale Artifacts: This will increase attack, Electro damage, and Crit rate damage.
  • Support: Using a Hydro character like Xingqui will make it easier for Keqing to do the most damage with her elemental abilities. Players can also use Bennett or Zhongli.

As for Talents, players should prioritize these if they plan to make Keqing a solid member of their party. Players are only given 4 party slots at a time so cycling between characters happens fairly often. Keqing can also clear out enemies with her elemental burst fairly easily. She zooms around the screen and damages nearby enemies in an instant. With version 2.0 releasing in the near future, it will be interesting to see how Keqing continues to hold up. She's excellent against most and works well against most bosses. Hopefully, she remains relevant with future updates. It's hard to want to pull for new characters if older ones become obsolete.
