Often displaying his prowess with rare Force abilities like the fabled battle meditation and 'mechu macture' or the disabling of droids through the Force, Jeth was instrumental in ending the Beast Wars of Onderon. But, unfortunately, Jeth will meet his death on planet Deneba from a fatal blaster wound from a Krath war droid, beginning his greatest student, Ulic Qel-Droma's, descent into the dark side.

Bastila Shan

The matriarch of the noted Shan bloodline and intelligent companion of Revan, Jedi Master Bastila Shan was a Consular of the Jedi Order around approximately 4000 BBY. Shan brandishes many potent Force abilities like Force stabilization used on Darth Revan, creating their Force bond, and battle meditation. This exceptional gift allows her to boost her allies' morale while demoralizing her enemies in combat, significantly impacting the Jedi Civil War.

Like her eventual husband, Revan, Shan possessed unique insights into the Force, which helped introduce more open-minded, less militaristic ideas into the Jedi Order in preceding eras, establishing Shan amongst the most noteworthy Jedi Masters of the Old Republic Era.

Kao Cen Darach

Kao Cen Darach in Star Wars

Zabrak Jedi Battlemaster Kao Cen Darach was an idealist that admonished all forms of the dark side. A prodigious lightsaber dualist, Master to eventual Grandmaster Satele Shan, and reputedly a 'seer,' Darach will have visions of the impending return of the Sith. But unfortunately, his lack of political tact would draw him to the dubious task of overseeing the orbital station above Korriban, the ancient birthplace of the Sith.

The will of the Force would see this assignment as Darach's last, as the True Sith Empire blitzes the Republic, starting the Great Galactic War. Yet, displaying an iron will and self-sacrifice shown amongst only the greatest masters, Darach will give his life in the attack, ensuring the Republic and his apprentice a fighting chance against the coming darkness.

Serving under Revan in the Mandalorian Wars, Meetra Surik eventually returns to face the judgment of the Jedi Council, resulting in her exile from the Order. Though non-canon as a wound in the Force, Surik will re-enter galactic events at the time of the First Jedi Purge and prove vital in defeating the Sith Triumvirate. From these events, Surik will recover her connection to the Force and faith in the Jedi Order before striking out in search of her lost friend, Revan.

Unfortunately, their reunion was cut short when the Sith Lord Scourge betrayed her. Proving her connection to the Force to be amongst the greatest, Surik becomes a force ghost, continuing to wage a cosmic war by Revan's side for the next three centuries, committed to purging Darth Vitiate's evil from the galaxy and seeing the Light prevail.

Known by many names, such as the Revanchist, the Butcher, and Darth, Revan is one of the most recognizable figures in the entire Star Wars universe. Serving as a Jedi Knight during the Mandalorian Wars only to return as a Sith conqueror, Revan was a masterful tactician and charismatic commander, eventually becoming an influential Master in the Order.

After finding redemption and love in Bastila Shan, Revan comes full circle in his journey through the Force, understanding its totality like few others. Trusting the Force unconditionally, Revan's impact in the Old Republic era was stated poignantly by his former Jedi Master Kreia, a significant Old Republic figure, who remarked, "Revan was power. It was like staring into the heart of the Force."

As a descendant of legendary Jedi Bastila Shan and Revan displaying a powerful connection to the Force, Shan is taken as a Padawan under Master Ngani Zho and then under Master Kao Cen Darach. Finally, above the space station orbiting Korriban, Shan witnesses the return of the Sith Empire firsthand, engaging Darth Vindican and Malgus before fleeing to warn the Republic.

During the Great Galactic War, Shan would become a hero, utilizing foresight and rediscovering the long-lost Jedi homeworld of Tython. Eventually chosen as prestigious Grandmaster of the Jedi Order in 3645 BBY, Shan would renounce her Grandmaster title after battling the Eternal Empire. However, Shan would prove a guiding light in the Old Republic era, appearing when the situation was most dire to offer guidance per the will of the Force.

Thon

Jedi Master Thon in Star Wars

A Tchuukthai Master that served during the Great Sith War, Thon possessed incredible knowledge and control over the Force's more supernatural and esoteric manifestations. However, appearing guarded and reclusive to many, mainly to protect his species and home world, Thon preferred spending his time in isolation on Ambria or at the Great Jedi Library of Ossus.

Even though Thon held the rank of Weapon Master in combat, he preferred to rely on his substantial control of the Force, using such abilities as telepathic communication, telekinesis, and Force barrier. Amongst Thon's notable apprentices was Nomi Sunrider, future Grandmaster of the Jedi Order, who studied under Thon on Ambria. Eventually seeing the Order through the Great Sith War, Thon proved a steadying presence and a stalwart bastion of the light in the Old Republic.

Vodo-Siosk Baas

A Jedi Guardian, respected member of the Jedi Assembly of Great Masters, and noted historian and artificer, Baas would instruct generations of Jedi in the ways of the Order. Presenting himself much like a Krevaaki Chirut from Rogue One, complete with the quarterstaff and deceptive power, Baas served the Jedi Order and the Old Republic with distinction and nobility into the Great Sith War.

A venerable Master who took Nomi Sunrider and fallen Jedi Exar Kun as apprentices, Baas preferred non-aggressive uses of the Force. Well-versed in numerous Jedi applications, ranging from lightsaber construction to telekinetic barriers, Baas displayed a focused dedication to the light common in the greatest masters of the Jedi Order.
