Jackass gave viewers some of the most outrageous content MTV ever broadcasted. Stars like Johnny Knoxville and Steve-O charmed audiences with their charisma and shocked fans with their dangerous stunts. The Jackass fanbase called for a feature film, and three followed as a result of its phenomena. Some fans call Jackass one of the best MTV reality shows of the 2000s.

However, when Jackass the TV series ended, fans still wanted more from the cast of the show. As a result, spinoffs came to pass from some of the show's stars. The series had a different impact than Jackass, and fans have taken to IMDb to rate the other shows from performers in the franchise.

Dr. Steve-O — 4.2

Steven "Steve-O" Glover is one of the most prominent stars of the Jackass franchise. Fans know him for his outrageous stunts in the show, like swallowing and regurgitating a goldfish and boxing on stilts. In the late 2000s, Steve-O got his own show in Dr. Steve-O. The series aired on TBS and featured The Real World's Trishelle Cannatella as Steve-O's co-host.

Dr. Steve-O functioned along the same lines as shows like MTV's Made and Bravo's Queer Eye For The Straight Guy in that it was a reality show in which coaches improved the lives of struggling contestants. Cannatella played a nurse to Steve-O's doctor, but they didn't work to improve the physical health of the show's contestants. Steve-O helped young men on the show face their fears through stunts to improve their lives.

Bam's Unholy Union — 5.8

Bam Margera became a breakout star in MTV's Jackass. He had already developed a following through his CKY videos before the show exploded in popularity. As such, Margera had a few spinoff series following Jackass. His more romance-focused show came with Bam's Unholy Union.

The show focused on Margera and his then-fianceé Missy Rothstein. The two were planning their wedding and the series led up to the big event. It spanned 9 episodes with the finale featuring the events of the wedding. Mishaps occur in the episodes leading up to it, with the cast of personalities audiences know from Jackass like Ryan Dunn and Bam's father Phil.

Blastazoid — 6.2

Blastazoid is one of the lesser-known Jackass spinoffs. The show starred Jackass regulars Brandon DiCamillo and Rake Yohn. The series featured stunts like Jackass and its other spinoffs but had a unique plot separating it. Blatazoid centered around building a life-size Donkey Kong set which would be played physically by the show's cast members.

The series followed the main cast in building its video game set, interspersed with video game-related home video footage. Fans saw their Jackass favorites hopping massive barrels trying to reach the top of the massive structure replicating the levels made famous in Donkey Kong. Of course, other pranks peppered the set's construction and found home footage.

Homewrecker — 6.4

Ryan Dunn starred in a short-lived spinoff called Homewrecker. The show played on the destruction audiences came to love seeing on Jackass. The calamity featured on Jackass helped make it one of MTV Classic's must-watch shows. Like Dr. Steve-O, Ryan Dunn was called on by contestants to help them with an issue in their life.

However, the contestants told a story of woe to Dunn based on poor action taken by their friends. Dunn would help get revenge on contestants' friends for their wrongdoing. The action taken by Dunn and the producers primarily involved the person's living space. As the title implies, the wrongdoer's home was trashed in some way or renovated in relation to their dirty deeds.

Viva La Bam — 6.7

Viva La Bam is the longest-running Jackass spinoff series with five seasons. While many of the spinoff shows feature a concept, Viva La Bam was more of a simple show. It followed the happenings of Bam Margera and his friends and family, mostly in Westchester, Pennsylvania. Although the show had a loose concept, each episode would have specific plotlines.

Unlike Jackass, some fans criticized Viva La Bam for having scripted conflicts. The episodes featured stunts and pranks fans came to be familiar with in Jackass, specifically in the style of segments featuring Margera and his close friends like Ryan Dunn and  Raab Himself. Sometimes, it featured guest stars like Johnny Knoxville from Jackass, and skateboarding's Tony Hawk.

Wildboyz — 7.2

Jackass fans got the show's highest-rated spinoff with Wildboyz. In fact, Wildboyz is one of the highest-rated MTV reality shows of all time. The show developed ideas surrounding animals and wildlife presented in the Jackass franchise, like the alligator tightrope stunt featured in the first movie. The show starred Steve-O and Chris Pontius, and the two stuntmen traveled around the globe for the series.

Just behind Viva La Bam with four seasons, Wildboyz was one of the longest-running Jackass spinoffs. Fans of the show might say it is well-deserved, as the series was both entertaining and showcased fascinating wildlife and interesting parts of the world. Some of the memorable moments from the show are when Steve-O is pinched by a coconut crab, and when the two explore a remote cave in Mexico. Fans might say the show almost felt educational when the stars weren't howling in pain from predator's bites.
