Ford has had a trend in the recent phase of his career to revisit many of his most famous roles. Sometimes the return is a letdown and sometimes it was well worth the wait. Blade Runner 2049 is one of the later films.

Director Denis Villeneuve brings his unique style to the compelling story of a "replicant" on a quest to discover his origins which leads him to seek out Rick Deckard. While Ryan Gosling is the star of the show, Ford makes the most of his supporting role and gives one of his best performances in recent years. The film itself is a worthy successor to the original masterpiece.
