Bleach's thousand-year blood war arc will premiere in fall 2022, and season four of Attack On Titan is set to premiere in 2023. Fans are enthralled by the unique concept and dynamics in these anime. Characters like Ichigo and Eren Yeager have gained a large fan base for their mystic characteristics. But one thing that all of the most popular new-age anime characters have in common is their mixed biology.

The use of half-human characters in anime is not new. But as their starring anime has grown in popularity, these characters have garnered a lot of popularity among viewers. From demons, aliens, vampires, and even gods, these half-human characters in anime are fan favorites.

Zero Two (Darling In The Franxx)

Zero Two, Parasite 002 is the deuteragonist of Darling In The Franxx. People always perceived her as a monster since childhood. She is a human-klaxo sapien, making her a sort of alien. Her red horns and Klaxosaur blood clearly show her hybrid biology.  She partnered and started piloting with Hiro, Parasite 016. The two soon caught romantic feelings for each other.

Zero Two acted like a wild animal or a feral youngster during her childhood. She grew up cynical about life as a result of her mistreatment. Zero Two is fascinated with becoming a human and meeting the boy she recalls from her childhood, who turns out to be Hiro.

Clare (Claymore)

Clare is No. 47 female Claymore in the 150th generation of the Organization. Human-Yoma hybrids known as Claymores are half-human and half-Yoma. Clare, on the other hand, is the only Claymore transformed using Claymore's flesh, making her only one-fourth Yoma.

Clare volunteered to go through the training to become a Claymore. However, she became feeble as a result of the experiment to change her using Claymore's blood. She also had a rough past having been abused and mistreated by a Yoma. Despite everything, Clare emerges as a ferocious warrior and one of the first partially awakened beings.

Future Trunks (Dragon Ball Z)

Future Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma, one of the best shonen jump anime couples. He lives in an alternate future reality and like Trunks, is a Saiyan-Human hybrid, even though their lives are very different.

Goku and Chi Chi's eldest Saiyan-Human hybrid offspring, Future Gohan, trains Future Trunks. Future Trunks, in contrast to kid Trunks, is cautious, serious, courteous, and well-mannered due to the circumstances of his timeline. He is one of the only three survivors of the attack by Zamasu, and his arc revolves around his attempts to save everyone.

Youko Shiragami (Actually, I Am ...)

Youko Shiragami is a high school student who attends a human school on the condition that her actual identity is kept hidden. She is a human-vampire hybrid known as Dhampirs and the female protagonist of the series.

She possesses long canine teeth and wings like a vampire. She can hide her wings, but not her canine. As a result, she avoids revealing her teeth to anyone. When she was unfolding her wings in an empty classroom, her classmate Asahi Kuromine discovered her secret. But instead of exposing it, he assists her in concealing it for the duration of their two years of high school.

Shinichi Izumi (Parasyte)

Shinichi Izumi, the protagonist of the Parasyte series, is not a true hybrid but becomes a half parasite by mistake. Izumi's right-hand gets replaced after he is afflicted with a parasite called Migi. This fusion significantly impacts Izumi's personality, as he begins to think like a parasite and loses his capacity to sympathize and cry.

Migi bit Izumi to entirely take over his brain, but Izumi tied a cable around his arm and stopped it from progressing further. The two build a bond over time and learn to coexist. The fusion of Izumi and Migi, as well as their subsequent lives, is a rollercoaster journey in this outstanding seinen anime.

Ichigo Kurosaki (Bleach)

Ichigo Kurosaki, the son of Isshin and Masaki Kurosaki, is a perfect combination of every race in Bleach. Ichigo is an excellent half-human with extraordinary powers, a soul reaper from the royal Shiba clan on his father's side and a Quincy human on his mother's side.

Isshin was saved by Masaki after one of Aizen's experiments escaped and attacked him resulting in her fusing with the hollow. Isshin saved her by putting his spiritual pressure on hers, causing all three spiritual forces to mix. She passed on Ichigo these Hollow abilities. He is a martial artist and one of the best anime swordsmen in his Shinigami form.

Sha Gojyo (Saiyuki)

Sha Gojyo is a hanyou offspring of a human mother and a youkai father. He is one of the Sanzo Ikkou's four members. He is insulted because of his blood-red hair and eyes, which identify him as a "child of taboo." With cunning quips and laughter, Gojyo masks the pain and suffering he feels. Because of his hanyou status, Gojyo was also abused by his stepmother.

A Shakujou, or Shakugetsujou, is a weapon created by Gojyo. He is proud of his 6-foot-1-inch towering figure and he also has two scars across his left cheekbone from when his stepmother struck him with an ax when he was 12. He's also known as The World's Best Champion.

Ken Kaneki (Tokyo Ghoul)

Ken Kaneki is Tokyo Ghoul's protagonist turned anti-hero. Following receiving Rize's kakuhou transplant after the Steel Beam Incident, Kaneki changed into an artificial one-eyed ghoul with ghoul skills and abilities. He eventually becomes known as Eyepatch.

He was the first artificially changed ghoul, acting as Rank 1 Ghoul Investigator and mentor of the CCG's Quinx Squad and a member of Team Mado. He has high-level superhuman strength and a speed that surpasses humans. At the end of Tokyo Ghoul: re, he becomes the most powerful being. He carefully considers both the Ghoul and Human perspectives before deciding to exterminate all ghouls, except those at Anteiku.

Rin Okumura (Blue Exorcist)

Rin Okumura, the son of Satan, is a Nephilim, i.e., half-human and half-demon. Rin acquires two horn-like blue flames over his head, long elven ears, and demonic teeth in his Demon form. His irises grow trapezoidal in a darker shade of blue, and his pupils turn crimson and slit.

Rin enrolls in the True Cross Academy to train as an exorcist and exact vengeance on Satan for the murder of his adoptive father, Shiro Fujimoto. Rin can also interact with demons who can't speak in human language. Rin may utilize Kurikara, the blade that was used to seal his powers when he was born, to tap into the strength he inherited from Satan.

Eren Yeager (Attack On Titan)

Eren Yeager, a human-Titan hybrid, is the protagonist of Attack on Titan. His father administered a Titan injection to him. He now wields the strength of three Titans. Eren inherited the Attack and Founding Titan from his father. He also got the War Hammer Titan after eating Lara Tybur during the Liberio Raid.

Eren, Mikasa, and Armin enlisted in the 104th Cadet Corps. Following the battle for Trost, the three joined the Scout Regiment. Eren witnessed a smiling Titan murder his mother and vowed to wipe out all titans. However, in season four, he becomes an anti-hero as the anime's most shocking twist villain, pitting his best friends against him.
