The Disney Parks have some of the absolute greatest rides and attractions in all the world of theme parks. From the tip of Splash Mountain to the graveyard of the Haunted Mansion, Disney knows how to make some incredible thrills, chills, and much, much more. But as much as we love their original rides, we can't get enough of their movie-inspired attractions either.

Sure, Big Thunder Mountain is the wildest ride in the wilderness, but who doesn't like the rootin', tootin', shootin' fun of Toy Story Mania? The movie rides offer just as much fun as the original ones, and we've got ten to prove it. Have a look at where these movie-made rides stand on our list.

Alice’s Labyrinth (Shanghai version)

Shanghai Disney Wonderland

Though Disneyland Paris has quite an impressive tribute to the original Disney film, it's this version inspired by Tim Burton's 2012 live-action remake that gets a spot on our list. The incredible maze is like a brief foray into the twisted mind of the famous director. It' will definitely leave you off of your head.

You can explore the Tulgey wood, attend the Mad Hatter's tea party, and escape the Red Queen's garden in this immense fantasy labyrinth. The amount of detail put into this attraction is simply maddening, but you know the saying. We're all mad here!

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

This entry is half history lesson and half current ride, but we're going to count it anyway. Though the U.S. version in Disneyland went the way of the dodo, the one in Tokyo Disney is a new and improved steampunk version Jules Verne would absolutely adore to ride.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was Walt Disney's biggest tribute to the sci-fi genre, and it's definitely more than deserving of its own theme park ride. Both the Disneyland original and the Tokyo remake feature a trip through an underwater forest in your own submarine craft, exploring sunken ruins, and even an encounter with the giant squid! Looks like classics never die.

The Seas With Nemo and Friends

If you've not been to see Epcot's Seas exhibit, you're really missing out on an incredible experience. The pink shells and cute characters might make the attraction look like a children's ride, but that's only magical misdirection. If you want a fun way to get to one of the largest saltwater aquariums in the world, pull up a clamshell and hang on.

The Finding Nemo-inspired ride is fun and great to tickle your ivories for the incredibly biological displays to come. The Seas has loads of colorful flora and fauna to see, you might even see a pack of Bruce's sharp-toothed buddies if you look hard enough.

Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

Though it replaced the Disney World version of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is still a fantasyland favorite that pulls guests out of the queue line and into the pages of Pooh's storybook. Though some modern tweaks have been added to the queue, it's still got the familiar feel of the classic movie.

Once you step aboard your rolling Hunny Pot, you'll be whisked away to the Hundred Acre Wood. You'll breeze through a blustery day, bounce the night away with Tigger, and evade the psychedelic Heffalumps and Woozles in this colorful ride. It's not the deepest attraction, but how can anyone not love that silly old bear?

Haunted Mansion Holiday

Though the ride has existed since the '60s, the Halloween/Christmas overlay is relatively new, especially with the newer additions in the audio-animatronics department. When Jack Skellington and the rest of his creepy crew, take over the Haunted Mansion and give the grim grinning ghosts a scary Christmas, the happy haunts are more than glad to receive them.

Like the Alice and Wonderland-inspired maze, this layover is like a Tim Burton film come to life, with enough jack-o-lanterns, cannibal plants, and vampire teddybears to satisfy any Nightmare Before Christmas fan. If you're looking for something scary but sweet, visit Disneyland during the holidays to check this ride out.

Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout

Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout at Disney California Adventure

We know, we know, it's still physically The Twilight Zone's Tower of Terror, but how can you compare the brief shock of a trip to the dimension of sight, sound, and mind to an action-packed battle through Tivan the Collector's menagerie of monsters and alien creatures with the Guardians of the Galaxy?

Instead of boarding a service elevator into a haunted hotel, guests accompany Rocket Raccoon to rescue the rest of the Guardians being held captive by the freaky Collector. Throw in some awesome aliens, long drops, and a'70s rock soundtrack from Star Lord's mixtapes, and you have a hit on your hands.

Seven Dwarfs’ Mine Train

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's down the mine you go in this incredible coaster from New Fantasyland. It might be inspired by the famous first film from Walt Disney Pictures, but beneath the fairytale, facade lies one ingenious thrill ride that could give Big Thunder Mountain a run for its gold nuggets.

Not only do these runaway mine cars toss riders to and fro over the rails, but their rocking and slinging motion add an extra bit of thrill to an already satisfying ride. It's a perfect way to get your junior Mousketeers into the thrill rides.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

The newest addition to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Rise of the Resistance is an omnimover ride through one of the First Order's cruisers.  We've said it before and we'll say it again, Disney knows how to truly immerse their guests in the worlds they create, and now they're just showing off.

If you feel strong with the Force, take a transport tour of this First Order Craft and carry out a spy mission while eluding Kylo Ren and his army of troopers. For a dark ride, this is incredibly realistic and intense, especially when Ren tries to saw his way towards the vehicle with his lightsaber.

Avatar: Flight of Passage

A scene from Flight of Passage at Disney's Animal Kingdom

If you thought Soarin' was a trip, you've clearly not been exposed to Avatar: Flight of Passage in Disney's Animal Kingdom. Where our last entry brought the world from the movies, Flight of Passage throws the guests into the movie! Similar to the process Jake Sully experiences, guests step into a chamber where they are given their own Avatars... and their own Banshees.

This attraction is Soarin' on steroids. There is truly no better way to see the moon of Pandora than on the back of one of these magnificent beasts. It's undoubtedly one Animal Kindom ride everyone should ride.

Slinky Dog Dash

Slinky Dog Dash in Hollywood Studios' Toy Story Land is definitely worth the use of a Fastpass+. It's an incredible rollercoaster that everyone, young or old, can enjoy. It's got just enough thrill to grab the adrenaline junkies amongst us, and it's still family-friendly without sacrificing excitement. Everyone wins!

Pair the design of the actual coaster with the colorful environment of Andy's backyard, it helps further bring this land to life. Plus, Wheezy's performance at the end is an awesome bonus. Who would have guessed Slink would have made such a fun thrill ride?
