In Pokemon Unite, there is a specific set of Pokemon that are meant to play certain roles. In the case of Attackers, these Pokemon are meant to dish out damage against other Pokemon. The beta for Pokemon Unite did allow players to choose from every Pokemon that will be available in the main game. The Best Attackers in Pokemon Unite
Players will be able to choose between Pikachu, Greninja, Venusaur, Alolan Nintales, Cramorant, and Cinderace in the Attacker role. Out of all of these Pokemon, Pikachu is the clear best bet to go with. Pikachu was the highest offensive stat out of all of the other Attacker Pokemon in the game and has a fairly high mobility stat. Alternatively, players can also choose Cinderace or Alolan Ninetales works as secondary options if Pikachu isn't working.
Venusaur and Gardevoir aren't too bad but it is best to avoid Greninja and Cramorant until balance patches are introduced. In theory, they aren't bad but characters like Pikachu and Cinderace do a better job in working in the Attacker role. Giving Pikachu an Sp. Att Specs will increase damage upon reaching level 30 as well. Although, a game like Pokemon Unite will bring up tons of discussion of which Pokemon are the best. Depending on how well this game performs will determine how effective those balance patches are. Pikachu is the player's best bet for running an Attack character.
