Andrew Scott has built a career on stage and in film and television as a successful dramatic actor who puts his all into every role he chooses to portray. This film follows two students at a boarding school that is focused on rugby, even though Ned is not interested in the sport and Conor is a star player they become close friends.

Andrew Scott portrays a new teacher at the school, Mr. Sherry, who continually encourages Ned and Conor in their endeavors at the school, including a musical performance. The film reckons with sexuality as the school environment is blatantly homophobic, but Ned learns that both Mr. Sherry and Conor are gay.

Locke (2013) - 7.2

Tom Hardy portrays Ivan Locke and is the only character seen on screen during this film. He decides to drive away from his family and job responsibilities to be present for the birth of his child conceived in a one-night stand.

Korea (1995) - 7.4

This story centers on the relationship between an Irish father and son in Ireland during the 1950s. The film also delves into the greater scope of Irish emigrants who emigrate to America and are then drafted in the Korean war the United States was apart of in the 1950s.

Andrew Scott portrays the son, Eamon Doyle, in one of his first feature film performances.

Pride (2014) - 7.8

This film is based on the true story of the lesbian and gay community Londoners supporting a group of Welsh miners who began a strike in 1984.

The two groups clash at first due to their differing lifestyles and environments, but soon understand, appreciate, and love each other as they're both being targeted and brought down by an oppressive government. The film is a light-hearted comedy most of the time but also never shies away from the seriousness of the moment.

Modern Love (2019- ) - 8.0

This anthology series follows stories of modern love with different stories at the center of each episode. This episode sees Andrew Scott portrays Tobin an uptight man who commits to open adoption and his husband (Brandon Kyle Goodman) when they meet an unconventional mother, Karla, who agrees to the adoption while still pregnant.

Although they clash throughout, Tobin learns to respect and accept Karla by the end of the episode in an emotional display.

1917 (2019) - 8.3

This war epic follows various groups of soldiers during World War I and mainly focuses on two Lance Corporals cross into enemy territory to deliver important information that will save thousands of lives.

Although Andrew Scott only has a small role in this film it's one of the most popular and well-received films of 2019 as it was nominated for numerous awards including Oscars.

The Hollow Crown: The Wars Of The Roses (2016) - 8.3

This series takes its source material from multiple Shakespeare plays about British Kings throughout the years including Richard II, Henry IV, Henry V, Henry VI, and Richard III.

Andrew Scott portrays King Louis XI of France in the later years of the anthology with the play about Henry VI. Andrew Scott has also starred in multiple plays on stage and this series brought the stage and plays to the film realm with great success.

Fleabag (2016-2019) - 8.7

This hilarious and profound show follows the young Fleabag as she tries to navigate her life including her family and friends.

Andrew Scott appears in the second season as the Hot Priest who is one of the first people who actually sees and understands Fleabag within the series. They become quick friends and while she wants more, and so does he, his status as a Priest complicates everything.

Black Mirror (2011- ) - 8.8

This anthology series follows various characters in dystopian environments that usually center on technology as well. Andrew Scott stars in the season five episode, "Smithereens" as a grieving husband who decides to kidnap and hold hostage an employee of a social media company under the guise of a ride-share worker.

The tense episode sees him grieve the loss of his wife and try to reckon with his involvement and the part social media had to play in it.

Sherlock (2010-2017) - 9.1

Benedict Cumberbatch portrays Sherlock Holmes in this detailed show based on the iconic detective, his friends, and his foes but is based in the modern 21st century.

Andrew Scott portrays Holmes's most famous foe, Jim Moriarty, and perfects his performance as the maniacal villain that torments Holmes and Watson.
