A sadistic doctor at the institution has chosen the veteran to perform experiments on during his stay there. The film becomes somewhat fantastical and mysterious as the veteran begins to have flashbacks and visions of the future telling him he will die within the week.

The Darjeeling Limited is one of Wes Anderson's most underrated films about three brothers who travel through India after reconnecting following the recent death of their father. The main three actors Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, and Jason Schwartzman have undeniable chemistry and able to portray the hilarious moments as well as the more dramatic moments. It is an easily recognizable and enjoyable Wes Anderson film with its style, cinematography, and witty nature.

King Kong (2005) - 7.2

Andy Serkis portrays the monstrous ape through motion capture in this rendition of the story of King Kong, who is brought to New York from Skull Island by an ambitious film crew looking to make a successful film. They want the film to star the ape Kong and a vaudeville actress portrayed by Naomi Watts, who wants to protect Kong.

Adrien Brody has a substantial role in the film as the playwright for the film being made and he becomes close with the star actress eventually falling in love with her and agreeing with her that Kong should be protected and not exploited.

King of the Hill (1993) - 7.4

This drama follows a young boy trying to survive on his own after his mother is placed into an asylum after a tuberculosis diagnosis and his father is constantly on the road as a traveling salesman. He grows up alone in a hotel room as he interacts with various tenants and locals, including Adrien Brody's character, as he comes of age and searches for his younger brother.

The Thin Red Line (1998) - 7.6

The Thin Red Line follows a group of American soldiers during World War II in the Pacific theater on Guadalcanal. The film closely follows the group of soldiers, including Adrien Brody's small role as Corporal Fife, as they desperately try to fight the Japanese. The film has great ratings and is overall a successful WWII film.

Detachment (2011) - 7.7

Detachment follows multiple students and employees at a high school as they struggle throughout their daily lives both with school and personal issues and tragedy at home. The film mainly focuses on Adrien Brody's portrayal of a substitute teacher who is used to distancing himself from students, but finds that he's becoming a role model to those at the new public school he's teaching at.

Midnight in Paris (2011) - 7.7

Owen Wilson stars in Midnight in Paris as a struggling writer who is extremely nostalgic for the past, particularly the 1920s era. He and his wife to be (Rachel McAdams) travel to Paris and he wanders the city looking for inspiration. He finds a fantastical way to travel back in time to 1920s Paris and runs into famous authors including F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway and becoming inspired. He also runs into Adrien Brody's portrayal of surrealist artist Salvador Dalí amongst the famous creators.

Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) - 7.9

Fantastic Mr. Fox follows a fox and his family along with their surrounding animal friends as they face off against the local farmers. Mr. Fox (voiced by George Clooney) decides to come out of retirement as a chicken thief and begins to steal from the local farmers to the dismay of both his wife (voiced by Meryl Streep) and the farmers he's stealing from. The stop-motion Wes Anderson film is a delightful watch and Adrien Brody voices a small part in the film.

The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) - 8.2

Adrien Brody portrays a villain in this Wes Anderson film that follows a concierge, Gustave H. (Ralph Fiennes), who is famous for more than just his first-class hotel service as he also tends to the sexual needs of the wealthy elderly women who stay at the hotel.

When one of Gustave's lovers (Tilda Swinton) mysteriously dies and he's left a substantial painting in her will, the family turns against him and assumes that he had a part in her death. The film follows Gustave trying to prove his innocence and evade capture from the authorities and the determined family.

The Pianist (2002) - 8.5

The Pianist follows the true story of a Jewish radio station pianist, Adrien Brody's Academy Award winning role as Wladyslaw Szpilman, trying to survive in Poland during the beginning of World War II. The film follows Szpilman as he's forced into a Warsaw ghetto, separated from his family, and hiding in various locations around Warsaw to evade capture.
