Ben Affleck: The Accountant (2016) - 7.3

This crime drama stars Ben Affleck, Anna Kendrick, and J.K. Simmons. A math genius is tasked to 'uncook' the books, while the Treasury Department investigates their activities - and death keeps occurring.

This action flick is what every fan of Affleck's wants from him, and this intense flick has an interesting story to pair it with, resulting in an impressive 7.3/10.

Ben Affleck: The Town (2010) - 7.5

This drama thriller might be lesser-known, but it did receive an impressive 7.5/10. With Ben Affleck, Rebecca Hall, Jon Hamm, Jeremy Renner, and Blake Lively, Affleck himself actually directed this flick.

A thief tries to manage his growing feelings for a bank manager while planning another heist, while an FBI agent works to bring him to justice. This crime movie is riveting, and is definitely an must-see action flick.

Christian Bale: Empire Of The Sun (1987) - 7.7

This movie was way back when, when Bale was nothing more than a blossoming young actor. Directed by Steven Spielberg, this action drama follows a young English boy during World War II, who is trying to survive under Japanese occupation.

Christian Bale takes the lead, and is joined by John Malkovich and Miranda Richardson. Obviously, it was only a matter of time before this young actor made it big.

Ben Affleck: Argo (2012) - 7.7

This biography drama is actually directed by Ben Affleck, and he proved he has what it takes to make an Oscar-winning flick. He also stars, with John Goodman and Bryan Cranston at his side.

A CIA agent pretends to be a Hollywood producer, but launches an operation to rescue six Americans in Tehran, during the hostage crisis of 1979. This story is enthralling, and definitely remains one of Affleck's best.

Christian Bale: The Fighter (2010) - 7.8

This Oscar-winning film is directed by David O. Russell, and is a biography sport drama that tells the story of boxer Micky Ward (Mark Wahlberg). He tries to make it big, all while in the shadow of his famous but struggling brother (Bale).

Joined by Amy Adams, this flick earned Bale an Academy Award, and it was nominated for Best Picture. With a modest 7.8, it deserves a spot in his top five.

Christian Bale: The Big Short (2015) - 7.8

This biography drama comedy has a stellar cast: Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and more. Directed by the brilliant Adam McKay, this movie also took home an Oscar.

This flick follows a group of investors during the 2006 housing market crash, while they unveil the corruption of the entire mortgage market. With a 7.8, this movie is hilarious, intense, and memorable.

Ben Affleck: Gone Girl (2014) - 8.1

This drama mystery is directed by David Fincher, and stars Ben Affleck with Rosamund Pike and Neil Patrick Harries. Based on the best-selling novel, a man tries to prove his innocence after his wife goes missing.

This thrilling flick has an incredible 8.1, and is definitely a newer flick where Affleck proves once again how talented he is. With 1 Oscar nomination, this movie is a must-see.

Christian Bale: Ford V Ferrari (2019) - 8.1

This is the newest flick released with Christian Bale. Based on a true story, Bale plays a driver, Ken Miles, who is hired by American car designer Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon), to compete in the Le Mans in 1966 - in Ford v Ferrari.

Damon might be Affleck's best friend, but Bale and Damon have undeniable chemistry, and this movie received two Oscars. Bale gives the performance of a lifetime in this memorable and entertaining flick.

Ben Affleck: Good Will Hunting (1997) - 8.3

This drama is the flick that put Matt Damon and Ben Affleck on the map. They won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, and the rest is truly history. This flick is directed by the wonderful Gus Van Sant.

Will Hunting (Damon) is a janitor at M.I.T., and it turns out he has an incredible gift for mathematics, but he must overcome his personal struggles with the help of a psychologist (Robin Williams). This movie is a classic, and will always be one of Affleck's best.

Christian Bale: The Prestige (2006) - 8.5

This sci-fi drama it has a whopping 8.5/10 on IMDb. Directed by Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale leads, joined by Hugh Jackman and Scarlett Johansson. Two stage magicians battle to create an illusion - but they must risk everything in the process.

This flick was nominated for two Oscars, and definitely remains one of the most popular and critically-acclaimed from the 2000s. It certainly deserves to be Bale's best, and the #1 movie on this list.
