The Below Deck cast members have been involved with the yachting world for many years and they are used to dealing with all kinds of outlandish requests, but this season’s wacky guests are on another level. Usually, a guest’s preference sheet will give a good indication of their personality. Rachel Hargrove famously walked off the boat last season because of a ridiculously demanding preference sheet that included quail eggs cooked at 160 degrees, wild boar, and a bedside amuse-bouche. Fortunately, she came back and was able to impress the very particular guests with her cooking skills.

This season has no shortage of guests that keep the crew on their toes. A group of real estate agents chartered My Seanna, and they were heavy bourbon drinkers. Things got out of hand when the guests made fun of their co-worker Justin for drinking his bourbon out of a thermos mug during dinner. The guests started bickering in front of Captain Lee Rosbach and Justin stormed off, leaving Captain Lee looking very uncomfortable. Another charter guest flirted with Captain Lee during dinner and tried to follow him to his room, much to his chagrin.

In one of the strangest Below Deck charters to date, the crew welcomed a primary charter guest Chelsea, who had her jaw wired shut due to a bicycle accident. She requested that all of her meals be blended and strained so that she could drink them through a straw. To make Rachel’s job even more difficult, Chelsea wanted to eat everything the other guests were eating, but in a pureed form. Rachel had to get very creative in terms of learning how to turn solid foods like lobster into palatable smoothies. Rachel, who is a Michelin-starred chef, tried to accommodate Chelsea as best she could. Fans were left shaking their heads, wondering why someone would bother going on a luxurious vacation on a yacht without being able to eat the wonderful food.

There were a lot of mishaps during that particular charter which Eddie attributed to Chelsea's strange friend, whom they dubbed “Broom Girl.” One of Chelsea’s guests walked onto the boat holding a broom that she called “Sally.” The guest told the crew that Sally had special powers and that she was a Wiccan. The deck crew witnessed her trying to place the broom on the sundeck while asking it, “Sally, you want to stand here?” Eddie from Below Deck became increasingly frustrated as the deck team kept noticing strange mistakes. For example, not once but twice, jet skis became unclipped and floated away. The crew couldn’t figure out if they were cursed by “Broom Girl,” or if it was just plain bad luck.

This season's Below Deck cast members have their hands full. Not only do they have to deal with strange guests and demanding requests, but they also found themselves suddenly short-staffed when stewardess Jessica Albert quit. After struggling in her role since the beginning of the season, she decided that the yachting industry was not for her. Viewers also wonder if Heather Chase will get fired after using a racial slur in the previous episode, which hasn’t been addressed yet. Hopefully, the crew will be able to keep up with all the guests' demands until they get it together.
