After the most recent episode of Below Deck season 9, viewers are starting to believe that the My Seanna yacht might be cursed. In the nine seasons the Bravo reality series has been on the air, production has used the infamous My Seanna yacht for three different seasons. The first time fans saw the My Seanna was at the start of season 6. The season was one of the more talked about seasons from the franchise as it consisted of a near-death experience and an insane exist from a third stewardess.

Viewers were surprised to see Captain Lee's My Seanna make a return so many times as the yachts they had before were much more modern-looking. Valor, which was used for seasons 4,5, and 7, was much cleaner and updated compared to the My Seanna. Fans began to wonder why Bravo choose to use the My Seanna so many times rather than going back to a nicer yacht such as Valor.

With season 9 currently airing, fans are starting to believe that the long-standing My Seanna yacht on Below Deck may be cursed. The so-called curse began during season 6 when viewers first saw the crew working on My Seanna. The reason why people began to wonder if the yacht was cursed was after former bosun Ashton Pienaar almost died while onboard. During season 6, Ashton was only a deckhand and was working at the back of the boat when he almost drowned. Ashton was entangled in a line while the yacht was most moving and pulled the South-African native into the water. Luckily, one of the cameramen was able to remove the rope from his ankle and save him from drowning. Ashton luckily only suffered from minor injuries and was up and running a few days later.

Below Deck Season 7

Not only did season 6 have a near-death experience, but they had an unruly third stew. Caroline Bedol left the ship after a foot injury and realized life at sea was too much pressure. However, former chief stew Kate Chastain and second stew Josiah Carter were happy to see Caroline go and even blasted music outside her cabin while she was packing. Kate and Josiah received quite a bit of backlash from the fans, which they ultimately apologized for. The most recent reason as to why fans think My Seanna is cursed was new chief stew Heather Chase saying a racial slur. Heather said it in front of new deckhand Rayna Lindsey, which Rayna took to heart. Now Rayna feels uncomfortable onboard and doesn't know how to confront Heather about the situation.

Overall, Below Deck fans believe the My Seanna is cursed because a lot of horrible situations took place while the crew was on or around the yacht. Hopefully, Bravo realizes what a mess My Seanna has been, and next season the crew will find a new ship or go back to Valor.
