The brand-new trailer for Below Deck has dropped and, according to the tough Captain Lee, there is "no crying in yachting." By the looks of the many tears spilled during the short clip, it looks like the crew is in for quite a dramatic season.

Below Deck is the beloved Bravo show that follows around the ultra-rich on their nautical vacations. At the helm is a sturdy captain who, thanks to his no-nonsense attitude, runs a tight ship. The video team gets up close and personal with the spectacle that goes on below deck while filming the boat crew and their antics. As the 150-foot yacht cruises through the season, there are bound to be ups and downs. The show rarely promises smooth sailing. Fans live for the over-the-top heartbreak, drunken nights, and demanding guests they see during the course of a season.

The moment fans have waited for is back, and Captain Lee is stepping back up to the helm for Below Deck season eight with a whole new yacht crew. Bravo recently released the trailer for the new season, which features the veteran captain and bosun Eddie Lucas, an original cast member who left the show in season three. In the opening remarks, Captain Lee reveals that this year he'll be sailing through the Caribbean once again. It's been years since the captain explored these waters and he says he “missed the hell out of it." Check out the trailer below:

The show that started the franchise is back on November 2. My Seanna will be cutting through the crystal-clear blue waters with new charter guests and a new crew. This voyage will mark the first time Captain Lee has sailed without Kate Chastain by his side as Chief Stew since she first joined the show in season two. The season looks like it will be jam-packed with drama, including skinny dipping guests, rude passengers, and Captain Lee ending an entire charter due to a guest's bad behavior. Naturally, what would a season be without some impromptu firings and boat romances? Halfway through the trailer, the crew gets news of the spread of COVID-19, which will surely take a toll on both the yatching season and the world.

It seems 2020 is looking up, thanks to the impending arrival of season eight. Bravo is making sure they have a few well-known shows premiering in the fall, so they can keep their viewers interested. Fans are curious how the boat will get on without Kate present to put her two cents in. But many feel the boat will do just fine as fans grow to love the new batch of reality stars.
