Below Deck season 10 has been one of the most dramatic in the show's history, and fans are upset there may not be a reunion after the finale. From the moment Below Deck season 10 premiered, the series has offered top-notch drama between the crew that has kept viewers glued to their screens. From Alissa Humber and Camille Lamb's feud to Captain Sandy Yawn and Captain Lee Rosbach's digs online, Below Deck season 10 has been a rollercoaster of drama on and off-screen.

However, as the Below Deck season 10 finale draws nearer, it was disappointing to hear that the recently fired second stew Alissa, revealed through her Instagram that the season's reunion may have been canceled. Below Deck reunions which occur after the season finale, are very popular as it brings the cast together to go over some of the most dramatic moments throughout the season. Alissa's announcement did raise some eyebrows, as Below Deck season 10 had been one of the most talked about seasons in the last couple of years. If a season needed a reunion, it's this one.

Below Deck Reunions Are A Fan-Favorite

After Alissa's post about the cancelation of the Below Deck season 10 reunion, fans of the show took to Reddit to air their grievances about the alleged news. Reddit user u/lunaloveswood, started a thread, noting how disappointed the Below Deck season 10 reunion cancellation felt, writing, "For me, the reunions are always my favourite episodes, and I was so excited to see Camille v Alissa, Lee v Sandy and I wanted to watch Fraser get his justice for being such a solid chief stew this season." The user also stated how the remaining episodes no longer held any intrigue as viewers won't get to see any resolution between the cast.

Below Deck Fans Aren't Swayed By The Scheduling Conflicts Rumors

An accompanying piece of information revealed by Alissa's post was that the studio ascribed the cancelation of the reunion to "scheduling conflicts." However, the excuse is not a big enough issue to justify the complete cancelation of the reunion. It was also odd that the producers blamed scheduling conflicts as they have organized reunions over video since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. While it's understandable if Chef Rachel Hargrove, who's not returning to Below Deck, refused to appear at the reunion, it doesn't make sense why the rest of the crew wouldn't be willing to spare an hour for the reunion.

Below Deck Fans Want Closure

The Below Deck season 10 has featured some of the most complicated relationship dynamics between cast members. The season started with the feud between stews Alissa and Camille, who were both fired from the season; however, for very different reasons. It would be nice to see these two bury the hatchet and hash out their differences. Viewers also followed the complicated romance between deckhands Ross McHarg and Katie Glaser, who may or may not be together post-season. The reunion is the closure fans need at the end of a season

A Below Deck reunion would have allowed fans to watch the crew members revisit these issues and put an end to their season. However, the cancelation means some of these feuds might remain unaddressed for the foreseeable future. Nonetheless, Below Deck season 10 has lived up to the hype, which the absence of a post-season reunion won't diminish.
