Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Jean-Luc Cerza-Lanaux spoke to Andy Cohen to try and clarify his stance on Dani Soares's newborn baby girl. While he didn’t make the official reunion, the Bravo crew tracked him down while on another vessel.

During part two of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht reunion, Dani and Jean-Luc each got a chance to tell their side of the story but did not share a stage. Dani came with no bomb to drop and simply stated she would do everything she could for her daughter. Dani made it clear that her former fling had messaged her, saying he wanted nothing to do with the baby in January and for her to stop saying it was his. The entire Below Deck crew felt for Dani and backed her up on the reunion. Bravo fans did learn that there was talk of a paternity test, but according to the stew, her 25-year-old boy toy dropped the ball. Jean-Luc finally got his chance to speak, and most of their story lined up.

Jean-Luc was allowed to take center stage and became upset when Andy Cohen went deeper into the questioning. Bravo fans felt that the deckhand was not taking responsibility after admitting he asked for a DNA test to prove the baby was his. While he has every right to ask for the information, viewers are guessing the conversation did not go down well. During his moment to speak, Jean-Luc said if he was the father, he wanted to be a part of Lilly’s life, saying the fact that people are telling him that he wants nothing to do with the child upsets him. Finally, the reality star broke down, saying, “All my friends and all my family know the type of person that I am and know that I want everything to do with that child…If it is mine."

During his short conversation, Jean-Luc made other claims that he wanted to be present at the birth and had gone as far as to reach out to Dani’s doctor but had not gone through with the paternity test. In a recent Instagram, he noted that Australia was currently closed, and he was waiting to go do the test in person. It was mentioned by Bravo that the two still have not spoken since the reunion was filmed.
