Daisy Kelliher is featured on season two of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht. Her job on the boat is chief stewardess, the head of the interior team. Daisy works alongside Dani Soares as her second stewardess and Alli Dore as the third stewardess. Before the show, Daisy was living in her home country of Ireland, where she had been staying during the COVID-19 lockdown, waiting for a job to open up. Once a job was available on Parsafil III, she went to Croatia to begin a new yachting season.
Fans were introduced to Daisy when she boarded the ship in Croatia during the premiere episode of the Bravo reality series. Daisy was already a complete 180 from season one's chief stew, Jenna MacGillivray, who the other stewardesses often complained about. Even though Daisy is a much more likable chief stew than Jenna, she is still considered bossy by the exterior team. She always wants to get the job done right and often comes off as abrasive, according to her coworkers.
So, who is Daisy Kelliher? The chief stewardess is 33 years old and was born in Dublin, Ireland. Daisy comes from a long line of yachties and sailors, dating all the way back to her grandfather. According to BravoTV, Daisy's grandfather was an Olympic sailor for Ireland in 1964, and her parents, as well as many aunts and uncles, were in the yachting industry. Her family became so engulfed in the yachting industry because they were a part of the Dún Laoghaire yacht club (via Meaww). It is safe to say Daisy definitely knows her way around a ship. According to her Instagram, Daisy got the role on Below Deck: Sailing Yacht less than a year ago, shortly after losing her job. After three months of struggling, she finally got temporary work on a boat she loved, plus she was offered a place on the reality show.
With the encouragement of her friends, Daisy decided to do though show, even though she had no experience in reality television. After an amazing summer filming with the cast and crew from Below Deck, Daisy suffered an accident. She broke her wrist and was unable to receive the surgery she needed right away due to the COVID-19 restrictions. After two months of healing, she flew to Antigua for more temporary work. Besides her yachting career, Daisy recently started an IGTV series with Alli and Dani called Pita Party. During the episodes, the ladies give a behind-the-scenes look at what really went on while filming season two of Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
Daisy is the ideal crew member to add to the Below Deck franchise. Not only is she well versed in the world of yachting, but she is confident, nice, and always willing to put her best foot forward. Daisy takes her job as a chief stew very seriously and will give her charter guests nothing but the best experience.
