After being spotted at dinner together, fans of Below Deck Sailing Yacht believe Daisy Kelliher and Colin Macrae will be returning for season 3. Season 2 of the Bravo series was a huge hit with fans compared to the first season. The only returning crew member from season 1 was Captain Glenn Shepard. Viewers immediately welcomed the crew with open arms and were excited about the drama season 2 would bring.
However, nothing happened on-screen compared to the drama that took place once the cameras were down. Two months after the new season premiered, Dani Soares, the second stew, announced she was eight months pregnant with her first child. Seeing as season 2 started filming in August 2020, fans were certain that Jean-Luc, a deckhand from last season, was the father. Dani revealed at the reunion that JL is the father. However, he wanted a paternity test first before he offered her and the baby any financial support. It's safe to say JL will be asked back for season 3.
The Instagram fan account @belowdecksailing shared a photo on Wednesday of Colin and Daisy dining out together at what seemed to be for Below Deck Sailing Yaht season 3. The chief stew and chief engineer were sitting side by side around a crew of unfamiliar faces. Shortly after the photo was posted, several fans took to the comment section to express their excitement for the return of Daisy and Colin. One fan said, "Yessssssss! My 2 faves," while another stated, "Omg yes. I loved them both!!" Below Deck fans even took to Reddit to discuss Daisy and Colin's rumored return and how happy they were to see their two favorite yachties come back.
One user on Reddit wrote, "Two of the best ever. Daisy is a fantastic chief stew and Colin is just my absolute favorite. I want to have some beers with him!" Another replied with the same sentiment, stating that they "would for sure chill with both of them as friends." Furthermore, some fans are also hoping first mate Gary King makes a return next season. They are optimistic that Gary will return for a redemption season after trying to date both his deckhand Sydney Zaruba and third stew Alli Dore, who is pregnant with her first child. One viewer said, "I really hope Gary returns for some redemption and more bad timing dancing," while another chimed in to say, "Gary is a mess personally but professionally, he’s a great Bosun. I wouldn’t mind seeing him again."
While the photo might prove that Daisy and Colin will be returning to Below Deck Sailing Yacht for season 3, nothing is set in stone. Fans will have to wait until at least the new year for Bravo to confirm who will be returning and any new yachties that will be joining the crew.
