Ciara Duggan from Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 1 is still living out her dream of working as a deckhand on different yachts since her time on the show. While on the Bravo series, Ciara was the lead deckhand working alongside Paget Berry, Parker McCown, and Christopher Miller. She is well-known for her relationship with Paget, who she began dating several years before they joined Parsifal III together.

During her time on the Bravo series, Ciara faced a few obstacles in her relationship with Paget. The couple would often fight on deck about normal exterior issues, but it became more intense since they were dating. Ciara also didn't like the attention Paget was getting from third stew Georgia Grobler. She later discovered Georgia had a tiny crush on Paget, which made Ciara feel a little uneasy when they were around each other. However, Ciara left the yacht excited about her career and her relationship.

Since departing Parsifal III after season 1, Ciara has continued to live out her career in the yachting industry. While Ciara still works in yachting, she has made a role change. According to Ciara's Instagram bio, she is now a chief stew instead of a deckhand. The former deckhand's most recent charter seasons took place in the Bahamas in April and July. She also spent some time in Florida earlier in the year, where she hung out with fellow Below Deck alums like former third stew Jessica More from Below Deck Mediterranean. Now that Ciara is working as a chief stew, she has developed a love for tablescapes similar to Below Deck Med's Bugsy Drake. While her career is flourishing, Ciara's personal life is much different than it was a year ago.

Ciara's personal life changed quite drastically after appearing on the Bravo series. Shortly after the season was done airing, Paget proposed to Ciara. The couple got engaged in July 2020 while in Italy together. Paget wanted to propose as soon as possible, as the couple had been apart for a long time due to being on different charters. After a nine-month engagement, Paget and Ciara decided to call it quits. Ciara confirmed the break-up on social media after a fan asked if she was still engaged to the first mate. During an interview with Us Weekly in April, she confirmed the split took place in December 2020 and admitted she was no longer invested in the relationship. "I loved him, but I think I was not in love," she revealed.

Now that Ciara is no longer with Paget and still working in the yachting industry, she has more free time to focus on herself and her career. Ciara has been through a lot in the past year and is using the time she has to begin a new adventure. Maybe part of that could be joining Below Deck Sailing Yacht for a second season in the future.
