Alli Dore from Below Deck Sailing Yacht has given birth to her first child. The former third stew announced on social media that she and her boyfriend, Benny Thompson, were expecting their first child together before the season 2 reunion. One of her castmates, Gary King, with whom she had a short boatmance, was not only unaware of the pregnancy but also shocked to hear the news.
Alli's castmates were very excited for her, especially Dani Soares, who was pregnant with her first child at the time as well. Last month, Alli subtly announced she was expecting a baby boy by sharing a photo of a gender reveal cake that had "It's a boy" written across it. The cake was covered in a light blue icing with a pair of cake-shaped shoes on top. Alli, who teased an emotional reunion, was clearly excited to welcome her little bundle of joy, and now she physically has him with her.
On Tuesday, Alli shared on her Instagram page that she had given birth to her first child, a son named River George Thompson. The former reality star welcomed her little bundle of joy with her boyfriend, Benny, on August 26 at 5:17am. She revealed the news by sharing a series of photos of her newborn son in the hospital. Alli said that River was born "a little prematurely" but has been doing better every day since he arrived. "We are so proud of our strong little man," Alli, who announced her pregnancy ahead of the reunion, began her caption. "The last couple of weeks we faced challenges I never thought we’d have to. It’s been really emotional but also the most special time in our lives because we have River at the end of it all."
The Australian native then praised her boyfriend for being at her side and said that she couldn't have gone through the experience without him. Benny also shared the news of their new arrival on his Instagram, along with a few photos, including one of him holding his newborn son. In his caption, Benny spoke about how proud he was to be the father of this little one and proud of Alli, who debunked plastic surgery rumors, for being such a strong woman during the whole process. Both Alli and Benny were surprised to welcome River so early, but they adore him nonetheless. Before becoming parents, Alli and Benny had been friends for over a decade before they decided to become a couple. Alli previously revealed that she flew up to where he lived in Australia, and the two fell madly in love.
Congratulations are in order for the Below Deck Sailing Yacht alum and her partner. Alli has waited so long to welcome her son, River, and begin her family life with her son and partner, Benny. Judging by her Instagram post, Alli is already so in love with her little baby boy.
