The nautical reality TV spin-off Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back for round two, as the sailboat glides through waterways near the islands of Croatia. The trailer has dropped and it looks like the crew is in for some sticky situations. Information about the new Below Deck Sailing Yacht season got lost in the shuffle due to pandemic concerns, but fans are still looking forward to another season of the show.
The Bravo network recently decided to add another Below Deck spin-off called Below Deck Sailing Yacht. The newest addition to the Below Deck franchise will join Below Deck and Below Deck Mediterranean. In the fall, a BravoCon panel featured Colin Macy-O'Toole, Captain Lee Rosbach, Kate Chastain, Captain Sandy Yawn, and Joao Franco. The famous Below Deck franchise cast members gave fans a preview of the new show, and the reality stars seemed excited about Below Deck Sailing Yacht. The series will give viewers a glimpse into the lives of the sailing yacht crew members and their wealthy clients.
Season 2 is on the horizon, and Bravo finally dropped the trailer so fans can get a glimpse of what to expect. Bravo fans would like to get to know all the new cast members that will be joining the team. Check out the clip below:
Captain Glenn Shephard is back at the helm and is about to sail around Croatia. His crew will consist of Natasha De Bourg, who is the chef, chief stew Daisy Kelliher, chief engineer Colin Macrae, first mate Gary King, second stew Dani Soares, third stew Alli Dore, deckhand Sydney Zaruba, and deckhand Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux. In the trailer, Captain Glenn can be heard saying, "I'm looking forward to a great season. We've got a great team." Due to COVID-19, the crew can't go out and party on the mainland and must stay on the boat at all times, even in between charters. The drama looks intense as clips show the sailboat hitting a wall as well as the anchor getting snagged. With an entire crew of new cast members to deal with, Captain Glenn will surely have his hands full.
The show is set to drop in March, marking one year since the world totally shut down. This meme-worthy Below Deck spin-off proves that people who have enough money can take luxury vacations while everyone else is stuck in lockdown. Hopefully, the drama isn't so extreme that it capsizes the boat.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht premieres on Bravo on March 1.
