Jake Foulger from Below Deck season 9 is one of many faces on the nautical series, and it's time to share information about his life. The deckhand will be accompanied by seven other new crew members, including the captain. In the season 9 trailer, fans were introduced to some of the newcomers and got a taste of what to expect from the upcoming season. The trailer introduced viewers to new chief stew Heather Chase and her two stews, Fraser Olender and Jessica Albert. The deck crew will feature Jake, Rayna Lindsay, and Wes O'Dell, as deckhands.
Besides the new team, season 9 has a few returning crew members. This season will be Captain Lee Rosbach's ninth season on the show. Bosun Eddie Lucas makes a return for the fourth time, and Chef Rachel Hargrove also makes a comeback. However, Captain Lee may not be joining the crew for the first few charters as the trailer introduced fans to Captain Sean Meagher. Judging by the trailer, Captain Sean is filling in for Lee due to an unknown health condition that he has.
According to the Below Deck season 9 trailer, Jake will be working as a deckhand alongside Eddie, who appeared in Below Deck season 8. He will also be working with his fellow deckhands, Rayna and Wes. This season, the gang will be heading down to St. Kitts in the Caribbean, which Eddie described in the trailer as "absolute paradise." Since St. Kitts is such a beautiful island, Jake and the rest of the crew are sure to take advantage of their time there. Viewers got their first glimpse of Jake in the extended trailer on the Bravo YouTube channel. He was spotted jumping off the top of the yacht, My Seanna, completely naked. He was later seen swimming backwards while returning to the boat. So far, Jake seems like quite a fascinating addition to the series. As for his life outside of the Bravo series, there isn't a lot of public information on the new deckhand.
Newbie reality star Jake does have an Instagram account. He is from the UK, just like James Hough from Below Deck season 8. Jake recently attended a wedding in Northern Ireland, where he wore a black suit with a salmon-pink tie, a gray top hat, and a vest. In the photo, Jake is standing next to an older gentleman. However, he doesn't say who the other man is. He wrote in the caption, "What a lovely day! Unlimited Guinness and a shit ton of shots [...] congrats to the newlyweds!"
Jake is also a very talented artist and has shared several of his drawings on his social media account. He has illustrated photos of himself, his friends, and a dog. As for his career in the yachting industry, Jake has been traveling the world since 2015. However, his Instagram seems to show that his days in yachting only date back to the summer of 2019.
While there isn't too much information about Jake available right now, once the Below Deck 9 season airs, viewers will get to know more about the deckhand. Hopefully, Jake can make it through the whole Below Deck season 9 charter season, unlike other crew members from past seasons.
