Lloyd Spencer is one of the new deckhands on season six of Below Deck Mediterranean. He will be joining the Lady Michelle mega yacht alongside new crew members Mathew Shea, Katie Flood, Lexi Wilson, Courtney Veale, and fellow deckhands David Pascoe and Zee Dempers. Returning to the Med following a tumultuous season five are Captain Sandy Yawn and bosun Malia White. Lloyd and the rest of the new crew are excited to join the team and begin their new adventure in Croatia.

Judging by the trailer Bravo released, season six seems to involve less drama amongst the crew. During season five, long-time chief stew Hannah Ferrier was fired after Malia found unregistered medication in their shared cabin. After she left the yacht, Bugsy Drake took her position, and Aesha Scott, who appeared on season four, became the second stew. Besides Lexi threatening to leave the yacht, it seems as though the cast of season six might be one of the best yet.

According to his BravoTV bio, Lloyd grew up in South East England, where, from a young age, he was drawn to adventure and adrenaline-filled activities. However, after a life-changing motorcycle accident, Lloyd decided to make a career shift and started touring groups all around Europe. Some of those tours included sailing excursions in Greece. After a few local captains persuaded him to try life on the water, Lloyd began sailing during the winter months, handling deliveries in the Irish sea. Sailing the oceans during the winter months can be very challenging, but it led him to a flourishing career in super yachting. While Lloyd mainly works in warmer climates, he still ventures out to sea during the winter once in a while.

The most recent photos on Lloyd's Instagram show he has been venturing out to warmer countries, such as Malta, Croatia, and Spain. However, it seems the best place he has traveled to recently is Croatia aboard the Lady Michelle with the Below Deck Med crew. On the yacht, Lloyd is a joy to be around and has proven himself to be a hard worker with his skills both on deck and in the engineering room. Lloyd isn't one to turn down a challenge, so he is perfect for the ever-changing and exciting lifestyle that yachting offers.

So far, Lloyd seems to be one of the more likable crew members this season. Judging from the Below Deck Med season six trailer, he gets along quite well with David, Malia, and Zee. However, he and David may be battling for Maila's affection now that she is single after her breakup with Tom Checketts. Nonetheless, Lloyd is sure to become a fan favorite.
