Malia White of Below Deck Mediterranean hinted that the boat's new chef and her boyfriend, Tom Checketts, may have cheated on her. The couple recently reunited in London after months of a long distance relationship, but it seems things went downhill fast between this pair.
Fans were excited to have a bona fide couple on the ship when Tom stepped in to replace Chef Kiko. But Tom’s anal-retentive methods of running his galley started to rub fans and other crew members the wrong way. The crew has had to deal with some picky charter guests, but no one expected Tom's explosive freak out after having only an 18-minute break. Still, Malia and Tom have seemed pretty solid, making fans think they might survive the charter season. It's clear they stayed together after filming ended, as they have been open in interviews about their long distance relationship and recently posted about a short reunion in London together.
Unfortunately, it looks like this couple is no longer together. In a recent Instagram story, Malia hinted that Tom may have cheated on her multiple times during their relationship. She shared a Beyonce video while saying, "This is for you buddy." Another meme posted to her story read, "The first time he cheats versus when you had enough." Only a day ago, the bosun gave a shout out to her single followers while holding a glass of white wine. In addition to Malia's shady posts, the couple has stopped following one another on social media and Malia deleted numerous posts that feature her and Tom. Interestingly, the chef still has all his pictures of Malia up on his profile. Bravo fans thought the couple was going strong after their recent vacation. During the bosun’s recent layover, the two snapped pictures and looked happy together. But Malia removed those pictures from her Instagram as well as many others. During the Below Deck Med After Show Malia admitted that she didn't want Tom on the show, saying, "On a selfish level I wanted this to be about me becoming bosun and I think Tom coming on board, it’s now Malia and Tom. We’re like a team."
Whatever the hitch was with the love bird connection, it seems to be over now. Long distance could have played a part in their separation, as both have admitted that being apart is difficult. Fans now want to know if it is the end for sure, since the duo has been known to breakup, only to reconcile a few days later. Romances on boats rarely work out, and it looks like these two will not be the exception.
