Malia White from Below Deck Mediterranean shared with fans that she had every intention of remaining single during season six. But with David Pascoe revealing his true intentions did something happen between the two that may have caused her to go back on her word?
Below Deck Mediterranean fans will recall that White went through a nasty breakup on season 5 with Tom Checketts. The bosun helped secure a place on the show for her boyfriend, but he only went on to throw tantrums in the galley and eventually cheat on her while working on another boat during the pandemic. White has been turned into the villain by Bravo viewers after she reported Hannah Ferrier for having a vape pen and Valium on the boat. White first started on the show back in season 2 and has now worked her way up the ladder with help from her mentor, Captain Sandy. The Bravo star thought she had put a nail in her love life, but has someone come along and changed her mind?
White spoke with Us Weekly, telling readers she had to let Pascoe down gently, telling him she wasn't in a "place to look for romance." The 31-year-old revealed she was a mess before filming and wasn't into even looking at another man, saying, “So, I think unfortunately for my admirers, I was in not in a place to look for romance.” Bravo viewers have been watching Pascoe try his best to woo White, to no avail.
White was blind to her deckhand's advances and missed the early signs of his flirtation. The Below Deck Mediterranean star shared that she felt alcohol gave him the liquid courage he needed to spill his true feelings. Pascoe wasn't White's only suitor; Lloyd Spencer also had stars in his eyes when it came to White. But again, she totally missed the clues when it came to his true feelings.
Even though neither one of the deckhands tickled her fancy, White has not given up on a boatmance altogether. The Florida resident shared that it is hard not to have a relationship on a yacht when you are working non-stop on a vessel, especially when you are working with the crew 24/7. As Below Deck Mediterranean fans know, the crew work in very close quarters and only see one another for months on end. Even though fans may think she is crazy to pass up on a relationship with either Pascoe or Spencer, White is adamant that she needs to remain single for a while longer. Bravo fans are just hoping that when she does choose to date again, the cameras are there to catch it all.
