Fans of Below Deck Mediterranean think chief stew Katie Flood should have fired Lexi Wilson instead of just demoting her. Since joining the ship, the second stew has had a really negative attitude and clashed with almost every crew member on board. Lexi has not been a fan favorite from day one due to her rudeness and her clear feeling she is better than her fellow co-stars.

Bravo viewers felt the second stew should have been fired after she made Lloyd Spencer feel uncomfortable in the hot tub. The stew yelled at him and called him names while shoving her chest in his face. She then verbally attacked Malia White, David Pascoe, and Mzi Dempers. Viewers are aware Lexi's father passed away suddenly, but many do not feel it condones her bad attitude. To make things worse, Lexi totally disrespected her boss, Katie, by walking away from an important conversation.

Katie's choice to demote Lexi and strip her of her rank was an unpopular decision, as most viewers felt she should have been fired and forced to leave the boat. Since the major argument, Bravo fans have been voicing their concern over Lexi's attitude. Viewers argued that other Bravo talent had been fired for similar actions. During a major blowout, Lexi not only put her hands on David by pushing him, but she also shouted a demeaning slur towards Mzi. The idea that Lexi is still on the superyacht is blowing the minds of Below Deck Mediterranean fans.

As viewers are well aware, there will be an extra set of hands coming on board in the form of a new stewardess,  Delaney Evans. But rather than dismissing Lexi so Delaney could take her place, Katie is trying one more time to give her another shot, out of the kindness of her heart. But most do not believe the equal footing will heal the rifts. The demotion also ruffled feathers since now there is another mouth to feed when it comes to splitting the charter tip equally. Bravo viewers have voiced their concern by calling out Katie as weak. In addition, many believe the decision is not fair to Courtney Veale, who has been giving her all to the job.

It is clear that in any other job, Lexi would have been let go. Now, she will be paid for doing a poor job despite her aggressive and demeaning behavior towards her fellow crew. Lexi already proved she was spiteful and lazy by not doing the cabins properly, simply because she wanted to be on service. For many, Lexi acting like a child is just too much. The Caribbean native should have been fired in order to make room for someone a bit more positive. Instead, the crew must shove themselves into smaller quarters and hope another fight doesn't break out.
