June Foster is one of the many one-hit wonders from Below Deck Mediterranean who found a new career after the show. The temporary third stew was introduced to the audience during season 4. June was a late addition to the cast, as she joined at the beginning of episode seven. Another third stew was needed after Chef Mila got fired and Anastasia transitioned into the chef position. Even though June wasn't fantastic at her job, she is the reason for Hannah Ferrier's viral quote, "June, June, Hannah?"

After seven episodes, Captain Sandy found a new chef for the yacht and forced June to leave so Anastasia could have her job back. June was understandably upset and told Sandy she did not think her decision was "very nice. "After deckhand Colin Macy-O'Toole caught wind of the news, he thought he should give up his position for her. June, of course, declined the offer and left Sirrocco with her head held high.

Since leaving the boat in episode 13, June moved away from her days as a yachtie and transitioned into life as a professional writer. In 2018, she published her first novel, The Girl And The Golden Leaf, following her stint on Below Deck Med. The non-fiction book tells a maritime tale of two whitewater rafting siblings who hope to escape West Virginia poverty (via Distractify). In January 2020, June announced that her popular novel has been optioned to become a movie. "I’m so excited to share with my friends and family that I’ve optioned the screenplay adaptation I co-wrote (with screenwriter-producer [Rick Rapier]) for my novel The Girl and the Golden Leaf," the former yachtie shared to her Instagram.

Other than her career as a writer, June also has an apparel line called Yachite Inspired. The shop includes several interesting yacht-related items any Below Deck fan would love. Some of her items include a yachtie rash guard, stylish baseball caps with her logo, and so much more. If you are looking to purchase June's novel as well, it is also for sale on her clothing website. Besides her several successful streams of income, June's love life is blooming. On July 8, the former yachtie shared a sweet video of her and her boyfriend Mackenzie. She captioned the video, "Now my head’s up in the clouds when I’m around you, I just want to say every day, thank God I found you." While it is unknown how long the couple has been together, their relationship seems to be fairly recent. However, June did share a sweet compilation video of the couple this year on Valentine's day.

Since leaving Below Deck Med, June has been very fortunate in her career outside the yachting industry. Not only did she publish her first non-fiction novel, but she even started her own clothing line based on the life of a yachtie. Returning to the show or the industry, in general, may not be in the cards for June, especially now that she has a stable boyfriend on land.
