David Pascoe is one of the seven new crew members joining season six of Below Deck Mediterranean, and he already has a ton of buzz around him. Joining him on this new adventure are newbies chef Mathew Shea, Katie Flood, Lexi Wilson, Courtney Veale, and his fellow deckhands, Lloyd Spencer and Mzi "Zee" Dempers. However, there will be some familiar faces returning this season. Captain Sandy Yawn will be driving the vessel, while Malia White will once again work as the bosun.
Viewers will get to meet David and the rest of the crew on June 28, when season six of the famous Bravo series premieres. The trailer, which was released on May 27, introduces David, the new crew, and some of the returning team. Judging by the trailer, David and a fellow crew member may be fighting over the affection of newly single Malia, who broke up with her boyfriend, chef Tom Checketts, last year. However, the battle for Malia's heart doesn't seem to affect the comradery between the crew.
According to his BravoTV bio, David was born in Italy and raised in the United Kingdom, close to where Courtney Veale was raised in North Wales. He and his family moved to the UK shortly after he was born. After high school, David had a keen interest in photography and videography, so he decided to focus his studies on that area. During his free time, David is an avid surfer, which has contributed to his passion for cinematography and the water. After he graduated, David worked as a beach lifeguard for some time until he was offered a job as a care worker at a brain injury rehabilitation unit. He decided to make a change and began to pursue a career in the yachting industry.
Through his many years in the yachting industry, David has been able to work on multiple motor yachts up to 55 meters. Now that he has been offered a job as a deckhand abroad the Lady Michelle in Croatia, David is excited to bring his work ethic and good attitude on the mega yacht. According to his Instagram page, David has been working on boats in his hometown of Devon and the French Rivera since leaving Lady Michelle in Croatia. He mainly shares photos of himself working on the vessels, but he does have more than one photo holding his adorable puppies. David presumably got the social media platform for Below Deck Med, as he shared his first post at the end of April 2021.
The new season of Below Deck Med not only looks explosive, but fun as well. While it seems like many of the crew members get into altercations, for the most part, they all seem to get along. As for David's crush on his bosun, fans will have to wait for the season to begin to find out how their relationship plays out.
