Bravo has just released the premiere date and trailer for Below Deck Mediterranean season 7. Below Deck Med is the second spinoff of the hit series Below Deck, which centers around the crew working on a superyacht and catering to demanding charter guests. Below Deck Med takes place in the pristine waters of the Mediterranean and features charters in destinations such as Greece, Croatia, and Mallorca.

The first Below Deck Med season had Captain Mark Howard at the helm. Season 2 introduced Captain Sandy Yawn, who prided herself on being one of the few female captains in the industry. She was a big supporter of Malia White, who started out as a green deckhand in season 2. When she returned for season 5 as a bosun, Captain Sandy tried her best to mold her into a strong leader. Unfortunately, Malia won’t be returning to Below Deck Med season 7, but fans will see a couple of familiar faces.

Bravo has released the trailer for Below Deck Med season 7 and fans will be excited to hear that the first episode will drop on Monday, July 11 at 8/7c. Captain Sandy will be back at the helm, but this time, it will be on the unfamiliar superyacht, Home. The captain will also be navigating new waters and shared in the trailer, “This is my first time ever in Malta. This season, for me, it’s a new place, a new boat, with new department heads.” New cast member Natasha Webb will be the chief stew with Raygan Tyler as the bosun. Chef Dave White is also a first-time Below Deck Med cast member.

Zee Dempers

Below Deck Med fans will be happy to see deckhand Mzi Dempers return, but the rest of the crew will be first-timers. Natalya Scudder and Kyle Viljoen will work as stews under Natasha, while Storm Smith and Jason Gaskell will be rounding out the deck team. The trailer shows some boatmances happening between the crew members. Natalya and Storm get flirty but they both insist things are just casual between them, which seems like a recipe for disaster. The relationship between Natasha and Dave has the crew questioning their friendship, while one of the deckhands flirts with the idea of having a fling with a charter guest.

Of course, no Below Deck charter season is complete without a mishap. Raygan miscalculates the distance between Home and a buoy, which leaves Captain Sandy frustrated. With an almost-new crew and navigating unfamiliar territory, Below Deck Med fans will be sure to see Captain Sandy on her toes. Viewers, along with former Below Deck Mediterranean cast members, have accused Captain Sandy of being a micromanager but perhaps those skills will come in handy for season 7.
