Below Deck Mediterranean is returning for season 7, and Raygan Tyler with be joining the crew as the second-ever female bosun. She will be joined by her other crew members, such as returning castmates Captain Sandy Yawn and deckhand Mzi Dempers. As for the other newbies joining superyacht Home, they include Chef Dave White, Natasha Webb, Kyle Viljoen, Natalya Scudder, Storm Smith, and Jason Gaskell. Raygan also has some big shoes to fill following Malia White's role as bosun for the past two seasons.
Despite Malia's ups and downs with past crew members on Below Deck Med, she solidified herself as a great bosun last season. Her team, which consisted of Mzi, David Pascoe, and Lloyd Spencer, constantly praised her for her work on the deck team and how she helped them throughout their time. Now, with Raygan stepping in as the new bosun, fans are excited to see how well she does.
According to her bio on BravoTV, Raygan was born in Essex, a small town just outside of London. After getting bit by the travel bug, Raygan knew Essex wouldn't be her home as she always wanted to live life on the move. The Below Deck Med star got her first job on a boat in the interior team and slowly broadened her working experience to the deck team. Since working in a male-dominated industry, Raygan has had to overcome many challenges and isn't afraid to prove she has what it takes to be an integral member of the deck team. Her bio also mentions that while Raygan is a professional, she isn't afraid to have a little fun.
On Raygan's deck team this season will be Mzi, Storm, and Jason. Similar to Malia, she will be a woman in charge of a team of men, which has been the norm on Below Deck Med for the past two seasons. As for Raygan's Instagram, it's currently private and only has 154 followers as of June 2022. However, there may be a reason why her social media is not available to the public. According to the r/belowdeck Reddit thread, Raygan doesn't last very long onboard. The Reddit thread revealed the cast of Below Deck Med season 7, an overview of the season, and everyone's positions. In a blacked-out box, there is a spoiler revealing Raygan does not finish the season, and one of the guys gets promoted to bosun. As for the extra deckhand needed, they allegedly recruit Courtney Veale, who was the third stew Below Deck Med season 6.
Not much is known about Raygan other than what is on her Below Deck Mediterranean bio from Bravo. With her Instagram on private, it's difficult to know if these rumors surrounding Raygan are true or false. As for whether or not she will make the whole season, fans will have to wait and see for the season premiere on July 11.
