Below Deck Med's Hannah Ferrier blasts her former boss, claiming Captain Sandy knew she took medication for anxiety but still chose to fire her publically. The chief stew is standing her ground when it comes to how she was forced to walk the plank. Even though Hannah has moved on from reality TV, she is making her side of the story known.

Hannah had been a part of the Below Deck Mediterranean cast since the series began. At the time, she was the longest-running cast member on the show, being a part of all five seasons. Meanwhile, Captain Sandy joined the team in season 2. In the beginning, Hannah seemed to enjoy her career, but as she entered her '30s, the last two seasons became a trial for her. This came to a head when Malia White discovered Hannah's valium and a vape pen, leading to Hannah's abrupt departure from the show.

Even though Hannah has stepped back from the series, gotten engaged, and become a mother, she is still upset about how her firing went down. The Below Deck Med alum spoke out on Behind the Velvet Rope about her true feelings. Hannah told host David Yontef her issues were not "something that was hidden. And it was like obviously, you know, production and Sandy and everyone knew that I had medication." According to the Sydney resident, it was based on a "technicality" that Captain Sandy was so hard on her. Check out Hannah's interview below:

The former reality star still believes her firing was unwarranted. However, Hannah mentioned the timing of it was also a blessing in disguise since she was six months pregnant when the episode finally aired. She joked that instead of reaching for a glass of wine, she went for long walks and arranged the nursery. Even though she was thoroughly embarrassed on national television, Hannah did share that she had a lot of people reach out to her and thank her for sharing her story. She told viewers, "I think from that side of things, that was really good because even if you just help, you know, a handful of people realize that they're not alone, then that's something, you know?"

Captain Sandy still stands by her decision to let go of Hannah. Luckily, the mother of one isn't allowing that to affect her too much. Hannah is now moving on with her life and accepting that what happened was out of her control. Below Deck Mediterranean has stayed afloat without her chief stew skills, and Sandy is still at the helm. Even though viewers miss her snarky remarks, it sounds like there is no way Hannah sees herself ever returning to the yachting world.
