The Captain has always made herself clear that when it comes to her Yacht and charter her priorities are her clients and their safety. Fans will recall that the seasoned Captain wasted no time in firing Hannah, the chief stewardess for failing to report her unregistered Valium and vape pen which she hid on the vessel. In the new interview, Captain Sandy told the outlet that she had "no regrets" about letting the fan-favorite go saying, "Imagine walking in my shoes, it was challenging. The maritime industry has a certain standard. … My number one priority is the client." Captain Sandy also made it known that she would not be interested in working with Hannah again in light of the incident that took place saying "I like people who are serious about their careers. Honestly, I'm there because I love what I do and I want people to work for me that love being in the maritime industry and if they don't, no love lost."

Once the episode in question aired it all made sense to viewers as to why Hannah had revealed before the season started that she would not be returning. Thanks to her careless ways regarding drug protocols no captain in their right mind would ever want to work with her again, essentially ending her career.
