After Chandler was fired from Valor while in Tahiti, he continued to work in the yachting industry. However, his girlfriend, Jamie Jason, from Below Deck Mediterranean season 3, was keeping everyone up to date on what he was up to before she put her Instagram on private as well. Jamie from Below Deck Med and the former bosun began dating shortly after they both appeared in their respective seasons in 2019. The deckhand used to share cute photos of each other, though the two were often apart due to the demanding work life of a yachtie. However, Jamie and Chandler are no longer together.
Chandler Brooks Has Remained Under The Radar
Jamie confirmed that she and Chandler were still going strong, but their relationship was temporarily long-distance. Besides Chandler's solid relationship, he came up in the news after appearing on Below Deck season 6 alum Caroline Bedol's Reddit Q&A via u/socrazysocaroline. She revealed that the bosun was fired because he informed production that he was planning to quit. While no further evidence backs up Caroline's claim, this could explain why Chandler fell off the earth following his stint on the show. It was also revealed that Chandler's father, Bruce Brooks, was involved in the sizzle reel of the show over 10 years ago.
After Chandler was let go by Captain Lee, he has been doing well. Not only is he in a loving relationship with a fellow yachtie, but he also seems to be thriving in the industry. It seems quitting Below Deck worked out perfectly for Chandler.
