According to her Instagram, Malia traveled through Florida before landing in Saint Tropez for a new charter in 2021. Before that, she posted throwbacks from her time in Croatia with her crew on Lady Michelle from Below Deck Med season 6. Before heading back to work, Malia was in a bad scooter accident in June 2021 that landed her in the hospital. She fractured her elbow, got a few stitches, and broke a few toes. After the accident, Malia healed and found a new passion: bike riding.

Malia's Romance With Jake The Engineer Fizzled

In September 2020, the bosun confirmed she was single while filming an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen after spending some time with Tom in London less than two weeks prior. "I am single, yes," she admitted to the host Andy Cohen. "I am very much single." At the time, Malia didn't reveal the reason for their breakup, but in Below Deck Med season 6, Malia admitted that Tom cheated on her. In a later interview with US Weekly, Malia said, "He found someone else on his boats, and I didn’t know for a couple of months." Meanwhile, Malia noted that "all Hell broke loose" when she found out. However, she has since moved on.
