However, she was moved to the deckhand position once Avery Russell left the boat due to an injury that was sustained during episode one. Izzy was happy to make the change, as she wasn't sure that being a part of the interior team was making her seafaring dreams come true. After she was asked to join the exterior team as a deckhand, her career on the water seemed to be going in the right direction.
The viewers met Izzy for the first time when she arrived on the boat to greet Captain Lee Rosbach. She came all the way from Australia, where she was raised. She was excited to start a new season on the My Seanna luxury boat. Izzy started her career in yachting after traveling to Europe. She then landed her first job as a stewardess. She used her skills from her first job as a foundation. She was committed to improving her stew skills and working her way up to the exterior team. Besides exploring her career in the yachting industry, Izzy came out as a proud lesbian to her crew members, which helped her to connect with them on a deeper level.
Since season eight ended, according to her @izzywouters Instagram, the 29-year-old has been traveling around New Zealand and Australia. In her most recent social media post, Izzy shared a photo of herself leaning against a car. She was looking over the hills of beautiful New Zealand. She also tagged several New Zealand tourism accounts. There is a possibility that Izzy could be working with them to advertise the beauty of the country to her thousands of fans. Izzy, who impresses fans with her honesty and courage, and who is known for being body-positive, also shared a photo of herself in Sydney. She was sitting on the edge of a sailboat. However, this is her father's boat, rather than a boat she is working on.
Izzy clearly has a passion for photography, as her Instagram posts are aesthetically pleasing. She knows how to find the right light and what filters to use. Her scenic photos look so picturesque. She showcases alpine regions, beautiful lakes, and tall trees. She even posted a picture of an elephant wandering around. The elephant photo was captured during a trip she took to Yala National Park in Sri Lanka. Izzy has the travel bug and explores the world wherever she can. Right now, she's exploring in New Zealand and Australia, while COVID-19 lockdowns are in place.
Since Below Deck ended, Izzy has been fulfilling her wanderlust by traveling to different places all over New Zealand and Australia. Now that there another Below Deck spin-off being produced in Australia, there is a chance Izzy may already be filming for it. Viewers will have to wait and see.
