This season on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, First Mate Gary King's reoccurring flirtation partner, Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher, is shown moving on with Parsifal III's Chief Engineer Colin Macrae, causing a jealousy-fueled reaction from a now apologetic Gary. Season 2 first introduced viewers to this trio of yachties, where flirtations emerged between Gary and Daisy, as BDSY's Colin's offshore romance was made known. With Gary's reputation for having a wandering eye, his flirtations with Daisy never went further than a few make-out sessions, as Daisy's ability to trust Gary were low. As Colin returned for season 4 single, Daisy's flirtations with Gary became dead-in-the-water, as her attentions switched to Colin.

A known high-seas playboy, Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Gary King is seen on the season 4 trailer labeling Daisy's relationship as "spiteful," implying she was only moving on with Colin to get back at him for his flirtations with others. However, Gary is now changing his stance, stating in an interview with E! News that he was just initially shocked, explaining, "To be honest, I just didn't see it coming." With a stance now leaning towards acceptance, Gary states "at the end of the day, she's not my girlfriend, Colin's not my boyfriend, so I'm going to be a supportive as possible for them. It's the least I could do as a friend."

Gary King Has His Own Below Deck Season 4 Boatmance

Blaming alcohol in part for his harsh initial reaction, Gary goes on to confess that his jealousy over Daisy and Colin's coupling was "not fair," as he has his own onboard love interest this season with a stewardess named Mads Herrera. "Madison and I had a little season fling," Gary admits, explaining, "Boatmances, it's just something that happens on every yacht. It's something we can't hide from whether we want it or not. I think if you spend enough time with someone you're going to get a connection with them and develop feelings." Thankfully, despite the ensuing drama over romantic pairings, Gary reveals that this will be a "feel-good" season.

While Gary King's current relationship status is single, less is known (at this time) of Daisy Kelliher and Colin Macrae's newly-formed pairing, though they have been spotted together recently on Daisy's Instagram. In a sign of growth, Gary and Mads are still on great terms post filming and failed fling, following each other's social media accounts with occasional interactions seen within the likes and comments. In seasons past, Gary heavily burnt bridges with his failed conquests, so as season 4 plays out, it will be interesting to see how Gary changes his behaviors with Mads to allow this continuing friendship to still be in place.

A "feel-good" season sounds almost too good to be true, but with Gary's acceptance of Daisy and Colin's pairing off, alongside Gary's still-in-tact friendship with Mads, his claim actually holds a decent amount of weight in terms of things to come. That said, dramatic moments will likely still occur, especially as the first signs arise of Daisy and Colin's coupling off, paired with the always-seen drunken crew nights off, where stresses of the job usually comes to blows between exhausted crew members. However, if a season can end well, with all crew members still in touch, Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 will be a nice change of pace indeed.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
